NS needs some new Mods!

Thats right, its that moment that a few of you have been waiting for... something almost as exciting as watching paint dry... yes Newschoolers.com needs to recruit some new moderators!

Traffic has grown on us, and the shit-talking is out of control...

Do you like to quash free speech? Do you like thousands of kids hating on you and wishing your death? Do you like the color green?

If the answers to some of these questions is a slight nod, then you should try to convince us that you deserve the power to make Newschoolers.com a better place to be.

Please send an entry of some sort to makemeamod@gmail.com and we will put you into an extensive voting system to see if you make the cut.

Believe me if your entry is stupid, or just doesn't have an substance to it, the delete button isn't hard to use, so put some thought into this if you really want it.

Include the following information:

-Member name

-# of hours per week on the site

-Your opinions of the public usage of the word f@g and the N-bomb

-3 ideas for how to make the forums of NS better

-Where you live

-What doesn't make you a douchebag

-Age

-Opinions of free speech on Newschoolers.com

You'll know who we choose when some new people turn green.

 
I probably couldn't handle the responsibility, plus i should be doing real work at my current job while i'm on NS anyway.
 
how much time do you have to commit to be a mod? like do you just act like a regular member but delete things that shouldnt be there or do you have to get on a certain amount of time or something? i could probably write a kick ass application and be on here all the time but generally i think i (and most of the ns population) am too much of a douchebag and would abuse my power.
 
Doug, I feel like this is a joke, because I would have thought you would have brought it straight to the donators, at least at first.
 
If he would of asked the donators first then you would of had a better chance since you donated alot and you would have less compition.
 
Its not a joke and why should we limit potential mods to just donators? If we gave you first crack at it, you'd still lose. So we opened it up for everyone to save some time.
 
alright, i wasnt complaining or anything thing like that. Doug just usually gives donators heads up on stuff first, and I hadn't read anything in there about there being new donators so I was just surprised to see this thread. that's all.
 
or at least to donators, im sure the "why i am not a deuchebag" section will be mildly humorous

so am i, but just like you i argue with way too many kids and hate on people a lot. you are the biggest douchebag on this site and everyone knows it...if you get it there will be a lot of unhappy people.
 
meh i'll give him some respect, he does give helpful comments at times. Plus he has the same name as me so there can't be any hate.
 
Bro you are mistaken. YOU think im a douche bag, and maybe i hate on YOU. I hate on kids i wish to, and they are usually pretty big douches themselves.
 
not sure who the youngest is, but all I'm saying is the only age restriction is the age to access this site.
