NS Movie Volume 2: Questions/Ideas

im thinking around May, as for telemarking, if you can get 15 people that telemark to submit an edit, you have a category
 
You mentioned a pro category twice in the story but you never explained how it worked. Who is pro, how do they submit, etc
 
they must submit a 2 min segment in their category, the top 2 of that category at the end of voting get the opening and closing segment
 
at the end of summer camps could there be submissions for a summer camp segment, like say all the windell's footage, COC footage, Momentum footage all edited to one song? a couple shots per kid possibly?
 
even if you cant get music rights i would recommend more music variety. the bearbot songs were rad, but got a little repetitive. not saying you need to spend millions on music, but a little more variety would be great.
 
for sure, but next year, you guys gotta realize that we have to go 100% legit, every single thing in that movie will automatically have to have legal documents signed waving all rights

 
thats expected since this seems to be a bigger project. maybe contact christ stolz/tired eyes? mebbe they would be willing to throw down a track or two.
 
for sure, I'd like to put somebody in charge of music for this thing, that way i dont need to think about too much until may when it comes time to edit
 
So everyone submits a one minute edit, is that the edit used in the film or is that just to decide who gets in and then the winners submit a more extensive edit later? Will the winning edits in the lifestyle category be regulated to their own segments or edited into the film here and there like an actual ski movie?
 
it'd be dope to have some footie in it from the east coast and west coast ns sessions like they had at loon and mount hood last year
 
yup, the edits have to be submitted by athletes, one athlete per 1 minute edit
then the top in each category submit their best footage from the year
the winners for lifestyles will be edited into the movie here and there, myself and a small team of editors will do all the final editing this summer
