Hello NS,
I'm currently in the process of editing the movie, I should have it done very soon, watch for the trailer to drop in the upcoming days.
So far the quality is very decent, much better than I was expecting. But please don't expect it to be PBP or Level 1 quality, because that is simply impossible with a member-made movie. Music will also piss some people off in the movie, but please understand that this movie was made with money from my own pocket and those of the filmers/editors. This means that we couldn't afford to purchase the rights for music, so we had to use royalty free music and local artists.
One thing that is really awesome is the amount of backcountry footage, it's looking like more than half of the movie is backcountry as of now!
I'm still waiting for a few people to submit their edits.
For a bit more info on the movie, there will be approx. 10-15 riders, Cedric Tremblay-Fournier has the opening segment, and Gus Kenworthy will be the closer.
We are hoping to play the movie at IF3, whether it will play at Cinema Imperial or the Telus Theater is to be determined. I would like to offer it for a free viewing, but we'll see how that goes, no promises just yet.
Either way, we will be releasing the movie on NS come end of September.
