NS Motocross riders

I ride. I've been riding Moto pretty much my whole life. Got a few minibikes, quads and a street bike too. Going to Seattle Supercross in a few weeks !

I Race NESC. Been racing for 4 years now, I've went from 85 B two years ago, and now i have advanced to 250 C. The riders on the 250 class are incredible, im working my hardest to get to B class and maybe eventually A. What class do you guys race?

this is my second year riding i ride a kawasaki kx 100 heres a pic :)

i race a 2008 rm85 and am looking to buy a yz125. my dad and i have a track out at my grandparents farm which has some like 50 foot doubles but is still a work in progress. Where is your favorite place to ride? Millville is mine.

i tend to stay away from MX

but i'm a Pro (AA) Enduro rider.

I've got a 95 mile race tomorrow, its gonna be cold though which will suck. heres a pic from last weekend:

good to see other riders on here, keep rippin guys!!!

OMFG THREADSSSSSS.

Dirtbikes are the sexiest inanimate object on the planet.

And guys asses in dirtbike pants = eye FUCKING orgasm.

I was in the market. I've wanted one since I was little. Too many other priorities though.

I seeee you ride a YZF! We'd get along well...

I've always been very monogamous about my dirtbikes. Took this when I was shopping for them.

ORGASMMMMMMMMM:

haha i have two ttr 125's i seriously just ride around my house all day in the summer 2nd best thing ever, skiing is first

Haha yeah, I was more referring to the entire line of Yamaha's in general...

My DREAM bike is the YZ125 but if I ever get into the market again I'm going to buy the TT-R230. I live in the rockies and would do mostly mine trail riding so the TTR line would be so much more forgiving suspension and torque wise on the rough trails. Just wouldn't make sense to buy a YZ.

We're getting a track in town though which makes me tempted.

Exactly. I'm a little 5'4" girl. They would be so much more forgiving. As I said, it makes no sense to buy a YZ with all that power when all I want to do is trail riding. YZ's have stiff suspension for jumping / track riding. TTR's are made for rough trail riding.

I may be a girl...

But I know my mechanics.

haha yess i dont race my yzf much when im out west so it is tuned for trails. suspension re-valve, i race in a supercross circuit here.

a YZ would be way to much bike for you. a ttr is not made to ride trails in the rockies though.

1. drum brakes. get ready to not stop.

2. low torque engine. have fun not trying to get up hills

3. suspension. hello monkey butt and sore back.

Get a WR250f if you can handle the weight, if not get a CRF150R, NOT F

Whats up guys! So glad there's a thread about this! I always wondered if anyone else rode motocross on here. I've been riding for awhile now and I always go to tracks and practice but i've never actually raced. Might do one this summer. I ride a CRF450R here's a pic of me!

Haha yeah I know. I'd have to make some adjustments on the TTR but I did a lot of shopping and talked to a lot of people and for my height/weight and what I'm going to be riding it was the best fit... kind of the reason why I let other priorities take DBing's place. I'd definitely rather have a dirtbike be a little less than what I want than a little more. I take my fair share of brutal crashes in all my other sports.

This is the only picture on this computer

Yeah, I did have that in mind at one point... I don't know what made me steer away from it. My options are always open.

WR250F's are sexy as hellll, too.

The weight would be fine but the seat height is 4 inches taller than the TTR and I was already tippy toed on that. =[

Honestly it's the seat height that kills me. I think that's the main reason I went towards the TTR's.

I sold mine when I went to college but definitely want to get a 450 when I'm done. Anybody on here follow supercross. pretty stoked on Villapoto this year, looking forward to Hill getting back also

not if you only adjust the rear sag and leave some in the front, but thats just what i would do, my brother was ridding a WR 250 at 10 years old weighing 105lbs and being 5'2

Yeah it's doable for sure but just make sure everything is properly set or mad headshake will insue

@AliGee ( sorry cant quote you on mobile) if you want a smaller seat you can look online for seats that are cut out or you can cut it out yourself. in regards to supercross, i am hoping Dungey gets a win at St. Louis ( i am biased because i have watched him since he was an amateur). Also it would be good to see another reed vs. Stewart battle !!!

anyone else not really a fan of Chad Reed? Im not really sure why, but I've just never really like him, and then when he took Stewart out a few weeks ago...........that really made my blood boil.
I really wish I was still as into dirtbiking and watching supercross as i used to be, sooo much fun.
I ride a 2007 CRF250F, would have rather got the R, but i only really ride trails so its no biggie, plus my dad got it for me as a birthday/christmas present after my CR80 died (2-stroke, that thing fucking ripped!) so Im not going to complain hahah
and to you guys debating about sag, when i first got my 250 i was still pretty short, so we sagged it and it worked fine for me.

Reed used to be my Favorite after McGrath when McGrath was on his retiring tour. Reed really wasnt that dirty to Stewart if you watch the replays from different angles. And they dont like eachother anyways so there will always be bad blood between them

Stewart is a shithead. i havent liked him since he cut off his dreads and changed his number from 259

ha. he should've kept them and let them get super long and hang out of his helmet. Villapoto needs to get it together. lookin forward for Hills return also

stewarts dreads were so short. i would hardly call them dreads. but anyway i call reed to win the championship.

I love motocross. I have my whole life, but only started riding last summer. It is fucking awesome. I have a dope track 15 minutes from my house and am there everyday in the summer. I ride a 06 KX250F. I love it. Here she is getting put back together after a full tear down and cleaning over the winter. Getting ready for new plastics and graphics in the spring.

I love riding, I ride a 2007 ktm 250 xc and I absolutely love it. Perfect powerband fo trails. Anyone else in here ride in Oregon?

not enough power imo and to get to the power it had i went 3 valve jobs, it had a decent low end torque but it just wasnt enough for me, thats why i went back to a 2 stroke
