NS Military?

I know you're joking, but unless you've ever fought a beaver I suggest you stfu and show some respect to our soldiers out there fighting the good fight.

But yes, I've been in the reserves for almost 2 years know, with plans to transfer Reg to study in the Chair Force. So far I've completed my basic training and trades course but I'm halting my training pending my Reg force application.

Fuck, sorry, I thought it was OP that answered that, no hate to combat engineers, i know a couple and they're cool dudes

I instead propose we meet bring the ole fight to the states. Just don't bring your moose riding, lumber jacking friends that I know you will.

Hahaha whatever, you think I'm gonna let a 12 year-old get to me? I get paid to go camping, get fit, shoot a vast variety of weapons, drink and dick around with my best friends. You can't even make me mad!

Life must be hard with no roads, eh? Just make sure that beaver-launcher of yours doesn't accidentally shoot some of those precious maple trees you all love so much. God knows where Canada would be without their armed forces.

+respect to everyone on here in the Military, someday I hope on joining a branch of the military, not 100% sure what yet, possibly after college.

Why wait until after college? Even if you join the reserves they pay for your college. Not trying to recruit or anything, just something to think about. I wish I would have joined fresh out of high school.

Just a bunch of reasons, Don't feel like going into college after I'm 22 and graduating when I'm 28, I don't want to not see any of my friends right after HS, I still want to do stuff after I get out of HS like save up money, I'm probably doing 2 years of Community College that I won't be paying for then 2 years of college elsewhere (probably) that will also be paid for but maybe not all of it. If you join the army for example after college you also are already higher ranked then other people who joined straight out of HS, which means you'd also be getting paid more.

Still not sure yet, though.

It is hard to read the high levels of ignorance in this post. Show some respect honestly.

Ya I know what you are saying, alot of those were the same reasons I waited. Let me know if you have any questions, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

Im in the process of enlisting in the Marine Corps just getting my paperwork together with my recruiter before I goto MEPS and swear into the Delayed Entry Program

Wouldn't mind joining the navy, probably in a medical capacity, corpsman or doctor or whatever. We'll see.

Lol..... my friends at boot right now. I wish I could post the letter I got yesterday, you might change your mind. He was pretty stoked to go, not moto as fuck but he looked forward to it, now he said its so fucked haha

direct quote "..I dont recommend anybody joins it"

Hes not a pussy either, been doing intense PT for almost a year, gonna be a grunt, ranked top 3 at his recruitment station too. Cant wait to have a beer with him when hes back, missing my best friend

the number of times I've told myself this probably outnumbers the number of days since I've sworn in but goddamn it, at the end of the day, there is no better job.

Told u before, but much respect my friend. You always have a place to stay and someone to hit it upwith. We need to get a crew together and grab beers before you go to bssic.

Im not in the military, but I have to do 12 months of mandatory military duty in the Norwegian Kings Guard. Im starting in October...

Been in the Air Force for about two years now. I love everything about it. I'm outside everyday, all day getting dirty, turning wrenches, and drag racing on the runway. Oh also I'm in Germany, and this country is the tits. Could not be happier living in my own house that is paid for and all my bills paid for. I recommend joining the Air Force to anyone. It's the best way you can go, hands down.

You prove to me, as a European, once again that there still are Americans who really nation hate. It's incredible to see how you are proud of your mental underdevelopment - and btw, there are roads in Canada, and it's a hell of a nice place to live.
