Just wanted to further post the link to the accomidation and ticket packages that Echo has been kind enough to set us up with. They've really got great deals going on here... I mean two days of skiing plus comp entry is less than a single ticket at the other big resorts...

Zero excuse not to come... there are record amounts of snow falling so the slopestyle course should be epic. You can qualify for the open... I mean seriously how could you miss it?

damn If I had the money to bum around colorado from the 12th through the end of the open I would be soo down
 
Pretty cheap for accomidation plus skiing really...

And for all you east-coasters, there was a member gathering last year! It was at the D-jam, and we sold out the entire hotel. It was wicked, this colorado one is just a chance for the other half of the continent.

Besides if you didn't go a little further to gather with the members, you wouldn't get to meet everyone! Give it a good effort, this is really going to be a great time.

 
Honestly why does the West get all the love? You should have the gathering on the East Coast because we don't have shit over here.

What better to get the spirits of the skiers on the East Coast up then a HUGE NS gathering?

We have enough set up to do it.

Yeh expecially when its a group of people who all share a passion for the same thing and all wanna get together for one big session. Yeh I am sure its gonna be really lame.

Are you kidding me, its prolly gonna be so much fun, a bunch of wicked good skiers taking over the mountain for the entire day.

a few questions about the slopestyle...the 3 spots for the open, is that just to get into the qualifiers just like signing up would've? and if so, what if people who already have spots want to do it and end up getting top 3, the spots would just go to the next people?

seems like a prime opportunity for some warming up...
 
dude, Im farther away from the west coast than you are. how do you think I feel? at least you guys and concerts and contests and stuff. We got nothing in AK.
 
ok you got me there. but often we get too much snow, so we cant hit the BC because its waaaaay too dangerous.
 
It isn't pre-qualified spots, so you do have to go through the qualifiers just like everyone else. So yeah its just like signing up, but there were 750 people that tried to sign up that first night, so I'm sure there's a few dissapointed people out there!

So if you get top spot in the contest, but already have a spot, then it will be given to the next skier in line!

 
Hell you can get a flight from NYC for like $250, which isn't even bad at all.

I mean think of how much fun it is! Hell how about this, I'll give $20 to the person who can prove they came the furthest for this!

 
Passport, drivers licence, birth certificate... anything like that will work!

Ok not sure if I'll be able to make it or not.

Buuuuut, I'll be in all black with blue/red pinstripes white anon goggles this years scratches gray 1080 boots and a red hat. If you spot me holla and give me a ride to Echo.
