Doug is definitely Daddy (is he a co-parent with Harvey?) and definitely a quality human. There are absolutely toxic aspects to this site, just like any other forum, but I've met some really wonderful people through it over the years and I'm very happy it's still a part of my life. I do miss its heyday, though.

NS has always had it's healthy dose of shit talking. HOWEVER if you go to any NS gatherings or meet an NS'er on the ski hill chances are they will become one of your biggest homies. Also if you need a place to crash or someone to ski with chances are someone on this site will house you and show you around. That's just who we are how it's always been.

We all love to bitch on the internet but deep down we are all family and most of us who have been around for a couple years know this.

Back in the day if you made a thread on a previously discussed topic people would just yell "SEARCHBAR N000B".

it was probably back in about 2005 or 2006 or something and it was stupid then. It's still stupid now, but 15 years more tired and overplayed. Pretty pathetic move dude.

I have met some of my best friends from this site. It's only as toxic as you allow it to be. It's certainly no more toxic than the rest of the internet - especially being that you know exactly who the usual suspects are...
