I have the craziest story for you guys this girl at the airport in SLC told me while waiting for our flight. “About a year ago I was chillin in O’shucks having some adult beverages. My girlfriends had all gone back to our condo (we were renting at red pines) to hit the pool but I was enjoying the night so I stayed. Some dude came and put his hands around my hips and whispered in my ears “hey honey have you ever heard of Newschoolers”. I was like wtf and pushed his arms off of me and stood up. When I stood up and turned around I was facing the closest thing to a troll I had ever seen. He asked me my name and if I wanted a drink. I told him to fuck off but he insisted. Ended up talking to him for a good bit and he bought me dinner. Said he was a big deal on some skier website called Newschoolers. Anyways when last call came I didn’t have a ride home. Realizing this he immediately jumped at the opportunity. I figured what’s the worst that could happen.20 minutes later I was covered in sweat, Cheeto dust, and oddly colored semen in the back of a beige Subaru Outback. I figured the sex would hide the smell of ass and mold but his small cock only made it worse. He used his t shirt to towel me off and then we awkwardly got dressed in the dark. He didn’t even walk me up to my condo he left me in the parking lot. The next morning on my way out the door there was a note that said: HMU shawty XOXO -Evan Heath. I got some OG 2012 Bent Chetlers a couple years back for a steal. And they are like, the best fucking skis ever. 123mm width. So so much fun. Do any of the OG's here how the old ones compare to the new 120s?

I know both the 100s and 120s now are really light making them not a very good option for resort skiing over chopped up bumpy stuff. The 120's still look like a blast in the pow but the 100s are a really directional and light ski, more like the Line sick days or maybe even like an Elan ripstick. I think they seem like a good enough ski but I think people are just hyped up cus of the name and graphics. Like, there are more playful skis, there are certainly better skis at carving, going fast, taking jumps, powder..... I gotta believe they are just easy to ski and can kinda do everything and they look cool so people buy them.

The 120s though I mean sheeeit those are pretty cool... no way they aren't fun as fuck in the powder.
 
This thread is weird but if you think this NS is unwelcoming go back like then years. When I joined NS there was still down voting on videos and pictures. I wish they would bring that back. But, in today's world we can't hurt anyone's feelings... The down vote honestly made me a better skier. The first few videos I put on NS (I have since deleted, don't check my profile) were down voted and had negative ratings. I was so stoked on these videos as a young kid but NS let me know how bad I actually sucked at skiing. It drove me to get better and put up content that would be received positively. I don't come on this site much anymore but if you think it's unwelcoming now, you didn't experience it ten years ago. Also Eheath is the man and has done so much for the NS and ski community. Trying to take shots at his physical appearance is fucked up.

but the similarities between ns and tgr end there.

because,

tgr is for ppl who are afraid to send it off a park kicker, who hide behind the facade of “im only interested in big mountain” in order to avoid being clocked for being pussies.

ns is a perfect mix because its full of alpha omegas who make the thots cream themselves watching them send.

there are a few idiots on ns who think their intelligence and culturedness excuses them from having to make muster in a terrain park, and they alot of them seem to hate the fuck out of me because i make them recognize that they dont belong here. Desertdicks, sfb420, skierman. and probably a few others. none of them can do shit in a terrain park and they all hate me for making them realize they dont deserve to hang their balls out of their pants while they prance around ns pretending to be athletic.

Don’t get me wrong NS can be “toxic” especially in the past from what I hear. But I fully agree with you, I’ve only had an account for a year but have lurked for much longer probably since i was in HS so like 2017.
