IMO, it's super annoying when regular members and posters change their icons or have the same icons as other people. i can tell who's posting simply by my peripheral vision picking up the icon to the left of the post. i can tell eheath, big spence, kangbang, you, and dozens more just by their icon. when they change it it's just annoying because i can't associate it with them anymore. it's not like i take the time to memorize other people's icons, it just happens after a while.
