that I have a 7 page paper to write on dehumanization of jews and im on here. With that said, I thought Id make use of my procrastination. Anyone know any good ways to make a paper longer? I know there was that thread on it but there was only a few ideas. Right now I have 12.5 font, 16 size periods, extended spacing between characters and its all double spaced. Im on page 3. And cant change the font. You wana help a brother out so he doesnt get kicked out of his school and make his girlfriend cry hysterically?
 
find lots of random facts that are somewhat related to the topic at hand on wikipedia and then use as many adjectives and long words to state the facts as possible. it increases length and makes you sound smarter.
 
Increasing margin size is a sure fire way to get caught. Imagine the scenario, the teachers reading a bunch of papers, then get to yours. The difference is obvious.
 
instead of double space..you can do 2.14 and it doesnt sound like a lot, but it helps when you need that extra little bit
 
ya but it has to be just a little bit, or to be really sneaky, do it only on the right side, since all of the words dont like up there anyways
 
i don't know if you have to do this already buit it adds the perception of length to your essay by putting

your name

teachers name

section number

todays date

and you put it in that order in the top left hand corner so that it adds 4-5 lines in legth with only 10 words or so

 
I got to page 4 and a half and just hit 5 with a nice long quote about Dr. Mengele's expereiments on twin boys. It's some nasty stuff

Make a long dedication to your English teacher how they inspired you to write this amazing piece of literature.
 
This works wonders and is almost impossible to detect.

Select all your periods in the find window in word, and then make them 2 or 3 fonts larger than the actual font size, and depending on the length, you could gain 2 extra pages. I did it on all my papers, and I once gained an extra 3 pages doing this
 
i would change the font to 13.5. i always do it. it makes a big difference, but isnt really noticeable if you put a paper with 12 font next to it.
 
spend all the time it takes to do all this ridiculous shit and write a bunch of bullshit, then elaborate on that bullshit and whammo 7 pages
 
I have the opposite problem, mine are always too long..

^but yeah, like he said just make it more wordy and include more examples.. it's bad writing but it will make for a longer paper.
 
ehh.. who sets a paper on its length? its all about the word count here

all the things that've been mentioned just sjound like they'll bake it look obvious that you'vere cheating
 
Yeah, seriously, suck it up and write a better paper. If its a 7 page paper and you don't have seven pages chances are you don't have all the information/detail the teacher is looking for and you won't get a good grade.
 
get off topic and ramble aimlessly, so basically you only need a page a subject

ex. jews dehumanized blah blah blah i think the nurses are stealing my medication
 
stop being a pussy and write more words. teachers, TAs and profs can see right through this shit, you arent fooling anyone. theres a ton of information on your topic, use longer quotes and just write what you thought of them.
 
just write a 7 page paper. You don't want to get busted because you changed the margins or any of that stuff, just to save a half of a page or something.
