I got way over my head on something and I need NS's help.

So, even though I'm a poor college student and make almost no money, I needed a car, but I couldn't have just any piece of crap car. I went ahead and bought a new BMW for around $45,000. But here's the problem, I have almost no money to pay for it. That is where newshcoolers.com and YOU come in. I know I messed up and couldn't afford it, but there's nothing I can do. I just need NS because newschoolers.com has so many members and the power of all the members to require membership fees. NS could do a great service by requiring just $2 dollars from every member to help me. It's immoral not to help me... right( I can't not have a nice car to get places)? I didn't know I wasn't going to be able to afford it... right? [answer below]

And this is where my karma hits rock bottom if you don't (or do) read this far....

HELL NO! I can't possibly be serious! Make others pay for my stupid mistake of buying something I obviously can't afford, when there are cheaper methods of transportation for a college student (bike, public transport, cheaper car, walk)... That's just stupid.

THEN WHY ARE MY TAX DOLLARS (and yours if yours if you're of age) USED TO PAY FOR PEOPLE'S MORTAGES?!!!!? They were obviously too expensive and they got way over their heads. (It is the exact same scenario as my BMW episode). side note: No one has a "right" to a home. There is nothing wrong with renting--Look at Europe. The government, and the people of this great nation are not responsible for people's stupid decisions.

This country is continuing to make even more steps toward socialism and communism. I made a thread over 5 years ago showing the progression towards communism. Call me crazy now, but if things don't change quickly, let's see if you say the same thing in 2014. (I dont want that to happen)

Sparknotes: having taxpayers bailout failed mortages is messed up and shouldn't happen. I didn't buy a bmw cause I know what I can afford unlike some people, but we still have to pay for their stuff. The government can't buy itself out of a recession.

there was no car, it's just a metaphor sort of thing. i can't think of a better word. i thought i made it clear that there was no car. i should have expressed that better I guess.

I'd rather have MY TAX DOLLARS going to help people who were given mortgages that lenders KNEW they wouldn't be able to pay back, than have MY TAX DOLLARS going to bailout CEO's that made $18 million dollars last year while their companies tanked.

You can care about other people in our country. If you want to give to people, their are many charities. It is where government becoming involved that the line is crossed. People should not be required to help people who make bad mistakes. What the government is doing right now is setting this country up for statements like this, "It's okay. If I mess up the government will help me out." Or "I don't need to worry about my problem, it's the governments problem to fix. thanks obama." God helps people who help themselves. I like fixing my own problems. I like freedom. I am not having my freedoms taken away. I know there are many others with the same views. Ill see you at Lake Michigan over the summer.

In general, but I feel that states should have more rights, like they did before the civil war (but no slavery. that is dumb.) Senators should be elected by representatives and not by people, just like it was originally. Governors should retain their power too. Right now, something passed in the stimulus package is that if the governor doesn't approve of something, state representatives can now approve of it. This is dangerous because it is leading to the road of deploying the national guard. Right now, only governors can deploy the national guard, if this trend continues, it could be very dangerous.

I think we need to go one step further than a small government.... there should be no government. no laws. nobody in charge.

(obviously anarchism would never work in the world we live in but it is the ideal...)

Im sure there were people in Cuba saying this when they had a prosperous economy before fidel. Just so you know...all the cubans refused to vote for obama because he was saying many of the things that fidel said before he came to power.

I never said communism and socialism are the same thing. We already have horribly socialist things happening in our country, and eventually, it could lead to communism and this country could turn out like CUBA. watch out.
