Okay so, I am picking up a position at my local hill on park crew. We are downsizing our jumps and moving our park to a smaller run. To compensate the loss and to avoid getting a lot of heat from local riders, one of the GM's said that they were willing to spend some pretty serious dollars on new rails and such. So, here is where i need you. I have a lot of ideas of my own, but all I want to know is:

What is your favorite rail, jib, or any feature you have ever hit? Please describe it in some detail or give me some pictures.

I would greatly appreciate your help and will try to get everyone ++++Karma for responses. And yes i did searchbar but did not really find what I'm looking for.

hit up the kids that ride the mtn youre working for, they will be the ones affected... regionals maybe? +k for taking input.
 
I have been asking the kids who ride there... and i will make a thread in regionals, thanks for the idea i hadn't even thought of that.
 
Just be creative with the set ups.

There are only so many types of rails and boxes you can have.

Typical setups can get boring, then no one cares at the end of the season that you spent the cash on that shit. Make it dynamic and always change the set ups, and you will have happy people parking!

im really down with the long flatbar. 10'-20' long, i think its super fun, nice and mellow. i also like the flat down.

this one might be a stretch, but in mark abmas seven sunny days segment, he has a few hits on a box that is arrangend perpendicular to the slope (meaning if a box normally is "parallel" with the slope, this one was rotated 90 deg. to be "perpendicular" with the slope). he just hops over it with a few tail hits or spins or w/e, ive always wanted to try tapping it or sliding or popping over... just looks fun.
 
flat to like curve up boxes. i've always wanted to try one. like a dragonback without the intial rainbow part of it, just a flat to a little curve up so it gives a little kick off
 
i like flat down boxes with a long down part. flat bars are good. a big rainbow rail is sick, and so are roller coaster boxes or rails. i've always wanted to see a flat down flat. and some advice is to mix it up a lot. that keeps interest.you can also put a bunch of flat boxes together and just make something cool. an area near mine did an up flat down flat down flat a few years ago and it was so sick
