NS Hoodie

Stupid Stupid Stupid... if you guys don't have the money (or rather, if your priority isn't to spend any money no clothes; I make no money right now, and this stuff is dirt cheap from where I sit in terms of clothes), then buy cheaper hoodies. It's not that tough. For some people, it's worth it to pay more for a better hoodie. Don't complain about that - it's your call what kinds of priorities you have for spending your cash. They aren't going to make it cheaper just because YOU'RE cheap when it comes to clothes (which there is nothing wrong with, it is your call), so shop within your range, whatever that is, and shut the fuck up if you're tempted to start whining that more expensive, higher-end versions of things exist. As long as some people are willing to pay for the better product, they'll keep making it.

I think all of them are pretty sick, i would probably get the purple one or black. I llike the yellow its just not my color. I like the buttons but every hoodie i get with those i end up wanting it to be a zip/pullover no matter how sick they look. Good job on the designs, it would be nice to have a pullover though.
 
well who are they marketing this hoodie for? The majority of this website are kids who are working hard, buying their own gear (at least some are). Most kids have probably already dropped a 100 dollars on a jiberish/voleurz whatever hoodie and are going to use that hoodie for the rest of the year. They dont have the kind of money to spend hundreds of dollars on hoodies. Most of the kids, me at least, with my own job trying to survive, i would love to buy a ns hoodie. If it was 40-50 dollars sure i can make room for that. But a 100 dollar hoodie? That's 3 weeks worth of food.
 
1. Purple and white.

2. Zip.

3. Put a white stripe on the back like the buttoned ones and make the light shade of purple on the arm white.

I think that would look really sick.

Just not one for 100 bucks... same reason i wouldn fork out for Jibberish etc.
what about bringing out a high quality one for 100 dollars
then a good one for like 50-60 bucks for us cheap people? (even if just a pullover)
 
Could you guys please make just a basic grey hoodie without a zip and the ns logo?it ciuld be $25 max and I'm sure a ton of people would buy it, including myself. I'm posting from the ns app btw it's awesome
 
I forgot to add to keep it simple like the old ns hoodies. Not everyone is into giant logos bright colors and super baggy stuff.
 
I love how you guys shit on your own corporate design manual by turning the logo.

If I remember correctly the manual tells the user not to turn the logo in any way. I hope i remember correctly.

Anyways the black/grey button up hoodie is cool, but loose the strip and the sleeve. make it nice and plain.
 
Actually, this manual is for everything that regards the use of the

logo on official docs etc... And it's to prevent people to do weird

thing. You can also see that I rotated the NS not the whole NS with the

text. I think I know what I can do with this logo, but thanks you for your advice.
 
purple, big logo, zip down. and im sure since this is just a quick look this will change but right now it looks like it would ffit pretty tight. make sure it comes in sizes that are big enough to please NS, but also sizes that can be worn regularly so we can represent off the mountain.

Look I'm not going to argue with you or contradict you but if any of these hoodies are made and sell here on ns for $100 or upwards(which I know they will) I think it would be conducive to both ns and voleurz to keep track of every hoodie sold. Then make a cheap price point hoodie for under $50 and see which one creates a higher revenue from the amount sold. You wouldn't even have to let us know the results. Just something that would let you know the demographic you are trying to reach here at ns in the future.
 
And sorry if i came off arrogant I'm not saying either one will sell better than the other. I just don't know if there are more people on this site with more money or less
 
1)purple zip up (bottom left)2)zip (buttons can ruin a look, and can be torn or can fall off easily, and usually are bulky)(but on the other hand, when a zipper is wavy it can ruin a hoodie)3)Keep multi colored inside of hood aswell as thumb holes on sleeves, but make sure the hood is round at top and not pointy if that makes sense, as well as making the thumb holes quality

but these need to come in tall sizes! close to jiberish 2xl and 3xl for me to warrant buying one
 
I think what a lot of people forget is that this is just one hoodie design that we are planning as our next release. This will not be the last hoodie ever made with our logo on it. We understand that it may not be everyones taste, and it may be outside of some peoples budgets for a piece of clothing but we don't expect every single person to buy it. In the past we have released cheap and simple logo gear, and have had people complaining it wasn't what they wanted, and others directly asking for us to do Voleurz/Jibberish/etc collabs. This time we have done just that, and we still get shit on.
Please understand we are trying to have some variety in our clothing line, and these pieces represent a higher end piece. There will be other stuff that may be more appropriate for what you want, so kick and and let JP keep pumping them out, instead of just tossing out hate.
We want to make everyone happy, but we can't seem to get everyone at once.

i personally prefer zippers buttons kinda look dumb and are these going to be tall? also the yellow one should have a big black ns symbol also
 
Ehh they look alright, purple one is probably the best. I never spend more than 50$ on a hoodie and they hold up great. Zippers yes, buttons no.
 
huh? 80-90 is not that crazy for a high end sweater...when was the last time you were in a retail store?
80-90 would be average for a sweater like this...possibly even cheap when compared to something with similar silk screening on it(in terms of size)...
dont forget kids, NS is still a business who is trying to make money, the margins on things like this wont even be that big to begin with(depending on what company NS uses for sweater)
my thoughts: sweaters look DOPE. id be in for one for sure, and anything from 70(dirt cheap) to 90(high yes, but still fare considering what you get) would be more than accurate pricing
 
The top right one with the buttons. Keep it the same, same colors scheme with the buttons and everything, and I would buy that for 60-80 bucks.

Just an idea but if your really want to try and please everyone maybe release a high end, expensive line of hoodies along side a more price point line? And announce the designs simultaneously for feedback? That way you maybe more likely to receive more love and less hate...

As for me I'm definitely not willing to shell out $100+ for a hoodie, $50-60 maybe even $70 tops if I REALLY like it. Out of the ones in the original post, I really like the black and grey, both with zips and buttons but not enough to pay Voleurz pricing. I, for one can't wait for you guys to release a cheaper line, I'll grab one then for sure.
 
I would take the first one and change the black for yellow. I would buy if it's under 60$. I personnaly dislike buttons.
 
Someone on here should do a cost vs. demand graph and figure out the optimal price for these. I did them last semester, but can't remember how now.
But i dig on the purple design. So far i've been too lazy to go to the effort of ordering something from NS, but these would inspire me.
