NS Guidance Department

One time he was looking for a powerpoint on his computer which was hooked to the projector. It had a file called Kittys.mov. All the girls in the class begged him to play it and we watched his cats chase a laser pointer for 5-10 minutes.
 
this big time. heres a sorta unrelated story but whatever, and it happened a few months ago, and im in 8th grade.first, a friend gets busted with pot in school, funny stuff.and a few kids get suspended for gun 'threats' but were just jokes, but i understand why they were suspended

second, a week or two later, i hear we're having an assembly with cops, didnt know why, figured for above reasons.

third, cops tell us how bad bullying is, even tho is doesnt happen in our district. they then go on to tell us how if somebody his us, we should NOT, repeat NOT fight back, and that we should run away. i was so angry the whole time. if somebody hits me, im going to hit them back. for the whole hour they basically told us not to ever fight back or defend yourself, just 'report it' to the all powerful 8th grade teachers.
 
really. stuffs pretty mellow. like nothing ever gets physical. i know it can be more than physical, but its not like everybody gangs up on a small group. and the 'nerds' arent constantly picked on. i have it pretty good. but what i was trying to get at was there were bigger things the cops could have discussed, not bullying, since its not a problem in our distict, considering theres middle schoolers getting busted with pot and being suspended for gun threats, but like i said they were more of jokes over threats
 
It seems like you have it all under control, but I thought I'd express my dislike for teachers that act in a far less mature manner than their students. In this situation, even though you 'acted out', I think that you're probably the more respectable person. You took a hit so your classmates wouldn't be hassled, apologized, no one was hurt except you and it doesn't seem like there are any hard feelings. That's my two cents, I'm just sick of irrational teachers that act like children.

its also obvious that everyone commenting on this against the teacher is still in school or just really fucking ignorant... I would explain my point but it would take too long and knowing the kids on NS no one will read it properly and understand the point. Life is stressfull. Dont try to make her forgive you, let her forgive you, even if she doesn't.

A dam can be destroyed by a bomb, it can also be destroyed by a pick axe over thousands of years.. see if you can figure that one out...
 
I just read the post that you quoted, and I get what you're saying. Seeing as how I don't know the teacher, it's hard to gauge whether she broke down because she got to a breaking point or because she was acting childish. There are definitely both kinds of situations, and many more than two for that matter, but just from reading the OP's post I deduced that she was acting childish.
