What type of cleats/gloves would any of you recommend to someone who's somewhat new to it and needs equipment, preferably relatively cheap equipment

I know, but i was looking for a specific brand/model or anything that people happen to like when playing goalkeeper.

adam what the hell do you know. you haven't played goal once in your life.

adidas make very nice gloves. i just dislike the fingersaves. anything with a spine in the finger prevents your hands from taking natural shape around the ball. i prefer Sells gloves. they're a company that specializes in goalkeepers equipment and you pretty much can't go wrong. as for cleats, just wear whatever you feel is comfortable.

i use adidas predators...and reusch gloves are probably the best....do NOT get adidas fingersaves

Alright, so definitely no fingersaves, or spined gloves and I was thinking of maybe getting adidas telstar cleats.

i used the fingersaves and they are decent especially when playing at a higher level where the shots are going fast. Cleats dont really matter for the keeper. But i wear adidas F50s

nike vapors own

and if you want real cheap stuff go with the $20 diadora gloves, i dont know the exact name but theyre good and last forever
