I came upon an idea that maybe newschoolers could add on the classifieds and maybe create a structered trading area like ebay.

it might be expensive to run though.

It wouldnt be a good idea. If you know a bit about ebay trading, you know that the factor that makes it interesting, is that there is so many people on there, that prices goes up quickly...Ns has about what? 7000 really active members? I dont think this would be enough... just go on Ebay, and you have the NS people, plus all the people from the around the world.

I was thinking more about just structuring deals enabling protection to both people trading/selling.

Ok, lets say you want to sell your stuff...would you put it on ebay, where NS members, and everyone else can see it, or just on ns?

depends on what kind of stuff. if i'm going to sell skis, then i'd NS them first. if i was going to sell my soul, i'd go to ebay.
