- eggs. a shit ton of eggs.
- instant potatoes. $1 per pack, and even half a pack can pass as a meal if you're desperate
- ground turkey to go with the potatoes. Get 2 lbs and make it all at once. Buy some cheap all-purpose seasoning for it.
- ramen. But find ways to spice it up, don't just use those sodium packets. Try breakfast ramen w/ eggs and cheese
- bread + peanut butter. ridiculously cheap.
- Pop tarts. 400 calories a pack, way cheaper than granola bars.
- yesterday's donuts. can get like a dozen for $2
- dumpster dive at Lil Caesars. Or just buy a $5 pizza if you don't want to wait till they close.
- The cheapest beer you can find. If you're just gonna drink a ton of them anyway, why pay a lot?
- Bananas. Very cheap fruit.
If you have a relative with a Costco or Sam's club membership, try and get an extra membership card. Buying any of the above items in bulk makes a huge difference. And their food court is super cheap, so get a cheap meal while you're there.
