so my friend just broke my fork (long story) so i was wondering if manitu stance flow will be good for me. 5'6" 134 lbs. mostly urban and dj. will they fit a steer tube for a hardrock? what size axel are they?

i blade to but not too often. i like biking more and i have shit to do right around my house.

as for the fork. i checked mtbr and found that almost everyone said they were SHIT. now ,im looking at the r7 platinums. anyone know about those?

i wouldnt put such a long travel fork on a hardrock. what fork did you have before and what year hardrock is it?

the flow would be good for urban riding. as far is specs i cant say. i'd assume maybe like 4mm thru axel tho

ok, i blade and bike. bikiing is way sicker. but id say stay away from manitou. get something marzzochi. go to www.jensonusa.com and look up like an '04 Jr. T. it'll fit your steerer tube but you'll have to gut the steerer post. everyone has to cut theirs to fit. its 170mm fork. and super smooth and not to heavy. worth the $350

why didnt you post in bikers man, its not that dead ahahah. well the stance has a lot of travel doesnt it?

DO NOT GET ANY MANITOU STANCE LINE FORK. THEY ARE ALL GARBAGE.

Buy one of this year's marzocchi or rockshox or even fox forks.

manitou stance's are shit, if you're going with manitou, get a glod label. otherwise, i reccomend a mazocchi dirt jumper, or perhaps a rock shox argyle.

i'd get a new bike!

the hardrock is definately not built as a jumping bike. it's more of a lower-end XC bike. get a p2 or p3 if you want to use it for jumping!

Manitous suck especially stances, there valving is crap, they feel like shit and flex like crazy, i would suggest a pike if you know how to rebuild/ change the oil in a fork, if not i would suggest an 03 dj series, the 04 and newer(besides 06) have steel stachion a.k.a wiegh a ton, and the crowns crack, you can also pick up an 03 dj3 for less than 100 bux, and if you switch the oil to 10w they are so plush and progressive, i should know i have one on my ridge.

Sean chillin on Sams acount(i am a bike mechanic race dh and dual slalom i know wat im talking about)

this guy knows what he's talking about. Manitou Stances just suck! Marzocchi has some pretty tight shit, rockshox is okay too or check out Manitou sherman series (just don't go into the stance)!

you are fucking lucky if it is good... because everyone I know that has one are really pissed about it.
