I randomly torrented Logic Pro X about 6 years ago and have been playing around with it ever since.

Post your music that you make, questions/tips about making music at home, samples, whatever you want really.

I like cubase and protools, but that’s probably just because the music director at my college worked as a developer for steinberg so we had really in depth instruction in cubase from someone who designed it. I prefer protools for live studio sessions with bands - it’s really easy to keep track of a ton of different channels at once during recording.

never used protools but i have seen that a lot of engineers use it for recording/mixing/mastering. Are you an intern?

Nah I did work/study in the music studio at my college and then worked in a studio for like 5 months after college. I own a construction business now. Music became a lot less enjoyable for me once it was a job.

I used to fuck hard with FL. I had ableton at one point but never really learned it. Friend of mine I met back in those days though posting our music on myspace and shit was using it. I miss those days. Prolly haven't touched it since like 07 08 ish.

Was cool to add midi keyboard parts along woth the loops. I wish Id had an ekit then to play drums with it but my computer prolly would have exploded.

All made on logic , I love logic it's pretty intuitive to figure out . FL and Ableton are sick though I wanna get more into midi mapping

Here's a super loose jam of me and the homies too if you like rock music

Trying to sound cool on the guitar lmao

Ableton was the first program I ever really learned how to crack and god damn it took me so long and so many sessions of work that got deleted because the program crashed or became unauthorized. I eventually figured it out and now that I've gotten the hang of using it I wouldn't use anything else.

Any of you that enjoy music production or rap music may know Kenny Beats.

if you do/don’t, you should go check out his twitch channel. He streams most days and makes beats/talks shit/does beat battles/ makes songs with artists/ gives out super helpful music and life tips. I find it a cool perspective to see as your rarely get to see the process of a platinum producer.

He also has a Discord that is super helpful, has samples, drum kits discussions and feedback for your music.
