NS Age Limit?

So today I found out that a 11 year old that lives close to me is on NS. Pissed are words that can describe my current state.

feel bad for whoever gets fucked around when he finds sell/trade :(
 
I hope he becomes a well respected member who is well established on NS over the course of the next 10 years.

And what's wrong with him being 11? he's probably better than a fair few of the 15 year old members and by the time he gets to that over confident 15 year old stage he might have some respect and not flame all the noobs and post dumb shit.

Which means he will fit in just fine compared to the grammatical skill of many people on this website.
 
its a skiing website, you cant really justify putting an age limit on it.

maybe put an age limit certain threads that arent appropriate for kids but thats too much work probably.. and kids will just lie about theyre age when they register so this issue is kind of inevitable
 
yeah you need to be at least 30, no job, small house, and ski on twin tips with jibberish that sags past your knees to be on here herpa shmerp
 
the only reason way younger kids shouldn't join is so they dont have to see this:

"OMG LIEK I JUST SMOKED A MARIJUANA FOR THE FIRST TYME AM I GONNA DIE?!!?1"

and other mindless threads that most 11 year olds do not need to see.
 
i do sometimes wonder if we should cool it on the swearing and sex and drug talk for the youngins, but on the other hand theyre gonna find out about this shit sooner or later and better that they get honest appraisals of the shit that's gonna be in their life from older guys and gals rather than being fed straight bullshit about things. sort of like getting the low down from your slightly older, pretty crazy but responsible cousin or something. i'd like to think no one really, in all seriousness at least, is condoning or recommending things that are really messed up or dangerous

i encourage all younger people to ask about things like sex, drugs, drinking, school etc if they want a non-bullshit answer or explanation of anything so they can make more educated decisions for themselves. i'd be more than happy to answer any questions you want kept private through PMs or whatever

personally, i think its great that youngsters are getting involved in skiing and are joining online ski communities. sure they may not be as sagacious as others with more life experience, but i think joining a online ski community is a good way to learn and grow. with time, they may mature into people you may later admire.
 
Amazing, as per usual. How's the weather on ground level with all of the other children not tall enough to ride high horses?
 
there are plenty of kids that are 11 that aren't annoyingit is just aliases and trolls that may be 11 and may be 19maybe he is not a trolldo you know him?if not then don't judge
 
hes sayin who should and shouldnt be on newschoolers id say n 11 year old skier belongs more than a 15 year old snowboarder
