NS acting up for anyone else?

I'm having serious issues loading some pages on occasion and finding myself having to refresh numerous times to get the page to load. Sometimes they don't load at all, and often when they do the page is a jumbled mess.

Is this just my internet or is anyone else having this problem?

I keep getting an error 503, server is down. I'm on my phone right now, my roommate can't log on with her computer either

Constant 503 errors. Other people seem to have no problems though. Very strange. Ive been having problems all day.

how ive been getting on: go to facebook, go to newschoolers fanpage, click on a news article link, go from there

503 errors all day if I try anything else.

This is dildos I can't even open anything without refreshing 100 times and even then it doesn't work. Except for this one time if this post goes through.

I just loaded up a page from my history, and now I'm not posting this from my phone any more.

Success!

We'll look into it. We recently crossed into the "Most traffic NS has ever had" zone, which happens every year around this time. Usually followed closely by "Oh shit I guess that database query was inefficient and one of the servers crashed."

Shouldn't be too bad to track down. Please do report this and as much info as possible (always report browser, OS, as muchh system info as you have, exact errors that came up, exact text on error pages.... absolutely anything you can get.

OSx 10.6

Chrome Up to date.

Frequent slow to load pages, usually get 503 or server timeout errors. Was getting them more trying to login from the splash page, sometimes going in from another link (FB) allowed me to login, but random pages would then hang and id get the 503 errors again. Other than happening everytime earlier today when logging in from the splash page, there doesnt seem to be much consistency.

Yeah this sounds a lot like a load issue. Likely the 503s and timeouts will happen totally randomly.

We'll get the boys on it. Just give us a bit of delay, remember NoPoles had a baby a few days ago, so he's taking it easy right now. :)

I don't have the error any more.

I'll even exit out and close all windows, then open a new one. Works perfectly normal.

So I was probably one of the ones that got past the 503 error
