i hate to keep posting in my own thread, but isnt there some rule about switching sides? i think that this may have been a show for the audience, also, i love the official ping pong outfits, theyre so official
its table tennis mofucka... ping pong is a trademarked by the parker brothers..its like kleenex is a company that makes tissues..but everyone says can i have a kleenex....and nooo i didnt go research this to be an idiot...we had a unit in gym in highschool for table tennis and we have tests on the unit at the end about the stuff they taught us...so yeah the true sport is called table tennis...and its amazing
haha it's all a part of the culture man. asia= table tennis
i played every day throughout 11th and 12th grade. it got so fun being able to smash and lob with someone else, good times... haven't picked up a paddle in like 3 years now, ha
table tennis was actually the first event in beiling to sell out and it is more popular worldwide than tennis. Obviously it helps when China has a population like they do and they consider it to be their sport.
clearly its all for show or else the dude closer has the worst tactics in the history of table tennis as he would have probably finished the rally before the dude up top was chased out to our left but instead feeds it right back to him down the middle.
people in not the us take it so seriously. we had the paraguayan exchange student play the german exchange student...most intense ping pong game i've seen in my life. they were slamming the ball into each other's faces so hard.
