Now that they have this hologram technology, who would you like to see in concert?

for those of you who don't know what im talking about, this past weekend at coachella they had 2pac perform as a hologram.

or going to a concert you have always dreamt about seeing. you have to look past the labels and their money bullshit. the whole music industry is down the toilet right now

pretty much this- also the core aspects of live performance are lost in the fact that its a hologram and not a real person. no artist/crowd interaction, no improvisation, also did I mention that its a hologram and not a real person?

It's pretty stupid in my opinion. I would never go to a "concert" just to hear my favorite Biggie songs being played from the cd's. I mean, it's no different than just showing pictures while the music is playing.

Seriously though this 100 times over.

I realize it is amazing technology, but IT'S NOT REALLY FUCKING THEM.

Here is what you can do...play their music and have your lil sister put on a puppet show.

You're not seeing a concert you've always wanted to see, you're pretty much watching a fancy music video made by a bunch of science geeks.

hahahahahahah you guys knock every single thing. it would be a cool experience but you guys are too ignorant to see that. im sure if you were at a concert and all of a sudden a biggie smalls hologram came on you guys would cream your pants

can you imagine if all the beatles were revived and had ONE more concert? i dont even think they could pull it off. the price of tickets would be outrageous, the security would have to be greater than that of the white house, and people would probably fucking riot for some reason. shit would be crazy.

Woo personal insults. I can't see anything cool about watching a dead person walk around on stage and having studio music played in the background.

And I can't stand Biggie Smalls at all, it's irrelevant but I fucking hate his music so much.

sweet dude so then dont comment on this thread. i asked who you would like to see not whether you would like to see it or not. i dont even want to know what you listen to then

This wasnt a concert to see Tupac idiots...this was a concert at Coachella with Snoop and Dr. Dre and Wiz...they just had the tupac hologram as a bonus suprise for everyone.

interesting to see if they could play a show where they switch ff between real and hologram and see if the audiance could tell a diffrence/ how well they could

You can tell, Snoop was on the stage with the hologram and it was very very easy to tell haha.

And to OP, I don't listen to music just because it's "classic" or "underground", I listen to what sounds good to me. Stop trying to be some wannabe hip-hop head.
