Its still in my mind, believe me... I've been looking into music rights and shit, but haven't gotten much traction yet.

However, we have been hard at working getting NSTV going. There's soooooo much possibility for what that could mean.

There's a three part thing of Freestyle.ch. We had it like 2 days after it happened, but due to all the technical problems it really only started working this week properly.

There is certainly a possiblity of doing shows on it...
 
What did NS radio cost to run?

I've been wanting to do an internet radio show for a long while now...but haven't ever tried to monkey with it and everything...i mean if Bishop is busy with NSTV maybe some other members could try and take the helm?
 
Thats a pretty slick idea, yea... a "peoples radio" I'd be up for that, a "view from the UK and Europe" lol.
 
jibwest radio is in the works. ohhh... I've done a few test over the last many months, just haven't had the time to get something started. Maybe for the new year.
 
I mean, of course we wouldn't be able to have the contact with the pros and such...but i think if you could have a couple people from each region of skiing broadcast one night a week it would be fun to listen too...

one night you have the west side of the united states...then you have europe...then canada..then the midwest...eastcoast and so on...i don't know there are possiblities...we'd just need people to make it happen

I know what you mean, I lived on NS Radio.... either bring it back or destroy all knowledge of it, it's just too painfull.
 
it was legend, pure legend, it was awesome, it was interviews with super-star-skiers, dope music, and the MC-stylings of Doug Bishop. I'd love for it to come back, I'd also love to contribute, we need a view from Europe segment.... I'd be the guy to do it lol
 
NS radio was awesome. I dont even think you really need to play the music, I always just tuned in to hear the interviews.

 
Interviews were sweet... i liked the live contests too..

but i guess NS radio will not raise from the dead in a while..
 
we should start an unofficial version... if anyone's interested we could organize something then post it in the main forums ? although I don't know where funding for licenses / royalties would come from...
 
that's a dope idea, when I don't have a ton of work to do, I'll try a prototype... if anyone else is interested in joining the fun, all you need is a mouth...

hey Thanks man, thats awesome, yea, I'm stoked that this could actually go somewhere, the Skype Idea is perfect, and a theme tune would be sick... we could do with getting in touch with some of the NS members who are connected deep in the biz, so we could get a bit of a inside scoop and stuff... anyone know the legality status on the whole 30 second song segments ??? Oh and do you think there is a chance that once we have something serious going on it will get a site-link, bit more exposure that way...

NS TV is a really sick idea, but I'll be honest I'd much rather listen to a radio show
 
Wait, Doug, are your intentions to replace NS Radio with NSTV? I guess I'm a little confused haha. Even still, an all-talk radio show would be amazing.
 
i think thier should be a name change in this forum... still keep NS Radio but have like a NS Radio/TV forum... just a though.. cuz now there is no NS Radio..
