yeah i saw this today, but it keeps changing, for a few days they were saying rain/snow on the 2nd and now its sunny, still im getting my hopes up, winters deff coming soon!

i wana be optimistic, but remeber last year? places opening first week of december, then got owned by the weather till the middle of january? lets hope we have a steady winter this year... in other words. global warming, go take a nap, and we will deal with u next year..
 
Yea last year had a solid start but then turned into a blow out for sometime with some wacky weather. It finished off alright though.

Im got my fingers crossed for steady cold temps. That way they can always blow snow. And if it snows much thats an added bonus....
 
i didnt actually read the article but the ski press issue at work said something about canada getting more snow because of global warming? i probably just misunderstood it haha

and yeah last year... i learned that if you go fast enough and lean back you can ski over patches of grass and mud without too many problems
 
its not really the ski openning of hills that im thinkin about

But rather the urban season

cuase the hills prolly wont open untill a week before xmas no matter wat
 
not going to start a debate or anything, but global warming goes in cycles, it causes abnormal weather, one region could experience record breaking heat in the winter, and another could experience record setting snowfall... its fucked lol

ah yeh i remeber trying to ski at mslm last year right after christmas and i learned to waterski on muddles, good fun
 
I doubt its gonna be any better this year

but alpine did add a lot more snow guns to the park this summer sooo
