I just got back from the movie. Sparked a nice Biggy Blunt on the way to the movie. THe movie is actually fantastic. Made very well, the guy who played tupac didn't fit but whatever. GO SEE IT. R.I.P
 
Yeah, I saw it last night. I thought it was good. I learned a bit more about BIG than I had previously known. R.I.P. Biggie and tupac
 
It was pretty good. Definitely up to my expectations. Not the greatest movie ever but youll be satisfied at the end of it.
 
It was so tight. It was cool how they had clips of actual video from when it happened, like at the end with big's funeral. Btw. media and arts section.
 
i wanted to go on opening but it was playing too far away. i wanna go soon though. hopefully it'll start playing closer.
 
Awesome movie, while some things were left out they couldnt do it all in 2 hours and they did a great job with it. Filming was amazing too. The shots of him just flowing on the mic, smoke in the air, so good. I almost shed tears too at the end.
 
me and my friends are thinking about going to it true biggie style and be partially trashed when we see it. will i not appreciate it all the way like that?
might have to see it twice i guess
 
i agree that a few characters werent cast well (namely tupac) but overall i think it was a sick movie and the end was really emotional - no homo - even though everyone knew what was gonna happen
 
did anyone notice like the 2000+ corvette in the movie when he was walking by all the sick cars he could buy. haha i dont care at all i thought the movie was awesome. i too wanted to cry.
 
ive been counting down the days to see this since like november when i first saw the trailer. Really disapointed i did not get out to see it this weekend but i will soon.
 
haha also a guy was wearing a hoodie i bought off karmaloop a year ago in one scene.

but really sick movie i thought, funny and shit but real sad at the end. and tupac didnt fit and they made him look like a total dick......however it made me want to go out and see tupac ressurection so i rented it today annnnnd tupac still looks like a dick in that. he has no basis for thinking that biggy set him up in any of his explanations, they even show biggie saying that in tupacs movie.

tupac is legit and all but i just think the whole ordeal was fucked up, but im just some white kid from vermont so im sure i have no fucking clue as to what the deal really was.
 
I don't think that tupac had a right to blame big for getting shot but they definitly morphed the eat west fued to make tupac look like an asshole and big as christ.

But otherwise the movie was amazing.
 
well yeah of course, but if you watch tupac ressurection you will see what i mean. even in a movie that tupac basically made before he died biggie still looks like the more reasonable person in the argument, hes just like.."yo pac got shot 5 times i could understand that he was fucked up and didnt know what was going on but we were not trying to set him up everyone who was there knows it besides him". tupacs gangster ego got to him and you can see it in his movie. he started just spitting on camera men for no reason and saying fuck you to everyone after he signed to death row, before that he was super super nice to all of his fans.
 
i can understand why 2pac would blame them. he got shot in the head first people he saw when he came to was the bad boy fam. when you get shot in the head im sure you can literally go crazy.
 
such a good movie. i never really acutally listen to biggies music untill after i saw this. way more respect for both 2 and biggie now. sick movie go see it kids!!
 
this girl in my school today tried telling me that the whole story is made up, and that biggie grew up with rich parents and dropped out of high school because he was stupid, and he started rapping to be cool. this girl was like swearing by it too.

anyone else heard stupid crap like that?
 
it was a sick moviei liked how biggies real son played biggie as a kid in the movie and lil kim was real hotnice story and the first freestyle was sick
 
damn you guys are lucky i was going to go see it with like 20 of my friends that i ski with and then on friday when it came out it wasnt playing at the theater near us
 
I saw it an liked it alot. I was expecting there to be a huge line for a 4:30 showing however less than 20 people were there.
 
haha I have no idea what I mean. I don't know my rappers. And I didn't know lil kim and biggie bumped uglies, either.
 
I'm not to sure if I want to go see this or not. I don't know how I feel about all the stuff that has been created after his death
 
the guy who plays biggie did a really good job. i dont think you could have picked a better person.

and i thought biggie was straight up hood and broke from the get go. but in the beginning of the movie his mom well off and he got grades in school and shit.
