Noticed something about tanner's chad gap fall

Um, hes not an idiot. When someone gets injured in sport, you never move the guy until it is ruled out that he has no back injuries. A back injury doesnt have to hurt.

i guess youre unaware of what its like to be in a huge amount of pain. you do things you really shouldnt because youre so fucked up and in shock it doesnt matter to you. little things like "dont move!" can actually help.

lol that happened to me when i broke my leg. the ski patrol guy was like "dont stand it will hurt"

I know when i broke my leg i refused to think it was broken, i got up tried to walk around and move it and run on it, which fucked it up ALOT more. i wish someone yyelled and told me to "stay there" and sit tight.

... he could have hurt a lot more than his ankles. If he hurt his back, and rolled over or moved around because he was in pain, he could have hurt himself more

There's lots of really good reasons to tell someone not to move after a fall like that. It's not like the guy said "don't stand up tanner, it will hurt if you do"

its a joke he could not move to easily cause he has broken ankles little hard to walk wit them. now yeah the guy yellin that meant it in the way of back injuries

i like the filmer yelling "his ankles are broken" alot better. no shit whered u hear that?. i heard people could hear it across the valley...

Oh, i broke my leg in 3 places skating, it hurt like hell but i was like fuck this im gona stand up, my leg bends into this shape > and i rip loads of skin and get blood everywhere, then fainted. This is why you dont move.

I broke the both my ankles, and it was the same talus bones that tanner broke. I got up and was walking around, trying to kid myself that my season wasn't over. My friends told me to sit down and stay warm until they got ski patrol.

So, with shock, and adrenaline, you're not really thinking straight and the temptation is there to try and walk it off. Telling someone to stay still (especially considering the severity of Tanners crash and possibility of spinal injuries) is really one of the most senisble things to shout until a medic got up there to him.

wow, yeah thats not a dumbass, thats someone that figures there could be more injuries and they dont want him to be walking around on broken ankles or something

this is a stupid fuckin thread...you fail miserably. The guy said the right thing because as it has been pointed out he could have hurt his back worse if that was screwed up to. When one of my friends jumped of their roof into a snowbank and landed on their head we made them sit tight even though they wanted to move around...we did the right thing to because even though we did this they still had to have major surgery to fix what got screwed up. They said if she had gotten up and walked around or nything she probably would have been paralyzed now...

If you really wanted to notice something notice the stupid fuck yelling back "His ankles are Broken!!"

i think whats even better is how in this vid some dude yells "my ankles" after he falls

soo i think the OPs idea is that its they didnt want him to get up and walk around and thats funny because why would he on broken ankles, but it was more meant as dont roll around and thrash in pain and stay completely still in case of a spinal. so. right?
