what was with the snowboard clothing lines in the buyers guide this year? I just found it kind of odd or is Holden hooking up skiers now?

Holden is one of the only companies who makes tight pants, and now that more and more kids in skiing are choosing that style they put them in to give those kids a peek at what's out. THat's just a guess.

Whats the big deal anyways, snowboarders can wear ski clothes and we can wear snowboarder clothes, they both keep us warm and dry in snow. Oakley can successfully market to both, and I wouldnt be outraged if Burton sponsored a skier, or if Orage sponsored a snowboarder. We all ride the same mountain together anyways... unless you're in Deer Valley or Alta. Or Bear.

Exactly why next year they are gonna put Platinum Fubu jeans, Sean Jean hats/vests and Pelle Pelle hats in there to keep everyone happy.

whats so wrong with that? you ever think that if you actually saw that it would be good? if our sport can get that much attention and grow that much i'd think most would be stoked on it.

it's funny cuz, holden would never sponsor any of the "tight pants skiing kids" (fuck that term) because they recognize tricks not how crazy stuff looks.

i buy 686 outerwear all the time.

i wouldn't have a problem if burton or any other snowboard brands sponsored skiers. what i do have a problem is sponsoring big names then dropping them all a year later cuz they now thing skiing is ghey. *cough anon *cough

haha deer valley is lame anyway so no worries for the boarders out there...id' say sessions is a good example of playing both sides very equally...and holden isn't sponsoring skiers..it's funny actually because all their adds in snowboarder mag and what not are dudes in holden outerwear on really lame skis looking pretty silly..holden is sick though hah
