Question guys...I have a pair of skis for sale, a guy offered me a less that what i wanted for them, but...pretty hard up. So i said yes, Seriously like 35 minutes later a guy calls me from 30 miles away and offers me cash what i am asking for them, as he says their sold out everywhere in the 185's. I already told the other kid i would sell them to him, have tried to contact him several times...no avail...what do i do to be legit as i am new on here and don't wanna piss anyone off
 
take the better deal. I've had people on here say yea i was the seller then back out last second to sell to someone with a better price. if the original person calls you back asking, just say a better deal came along, would you like to top it?

If the guy offers cash for the price you're asking, then don't feel bad. It's the other guys fault for not offering the price you asked.
 
He just called back and is pissed as hell! He says i am not legit at all and i don't have the skis! ha ha since i have taken several pictures with and without his name on them to prove i have the skis! Oh well...I'll take the cash cause you guys said so....Even though mcleodm said that he is going to make it so no one ever buys shit from me off here or on TGR. You guys sure~ Don't F me over please. I will take a hit of 100 bucks because i plan on selling stuff on here for a long time now, and i dont want to have a bad rep!
 
When you do get a hold of him say a better deal came along, sorry. Kinda his fault for not answering the phone...
 
I even looked up his address in the phone book and called, talked to his old man! He definately had some some choice words to say about that!
 
So that's what your other thread was about. Honestly, if he hasn't given you the money, he can't really get pissed at you. It's not like you're scamming him in any way. The worst thing you did was get your hopes up. Tell him that he lowballed you and you got a better offer and decided to take that for obvious reason.
 
ok theres no reason for this thread but whatever. heres what it is. First one to put the amount of money in your paypal is one who would normally get the goods. if he did that, then they're his. if he just said yea sure dude ill buy them when i get the money, you still are selling therefor you could take any better offers if hes being slow. just use common sense.
 
I told him cashiers check as he wouldn't pay the 3% pay pal fee, and i was giving him a killer deal! He said i am a scammer bla bla bla and hung up, so i called him back and he said "f*** sell them to the other guy" Thats legit right
 
Dude $100 is a lot of money to protect your 50 post count... Can alwasy change your username or make a new account I guess.
 
alright, well....i'll go for the cash in hand! If he screws over my status, i'll start a new one....wanna be friend me if that happens ha ha ha
 
dude, shit like that happens all the time. dont worry. if the kids being that much of a douche other people will realize this and will probably not deal with him when selling stuff. dont worry so much about your name, its the internet?
