honestly, do think people who refuse to spin over 540 should be pro? i think so. being able to do any 540 the four ways takes plenty of skill, and i think a switch unnaty 450 to rail with a 450 out miiiiight just take a little bit of skill if anybody ever did it.

He doesn't like to spin over 540. My opinion is that slow spins look better than this fast-hucking stuff. Its hard to put real style in a spin over 720. possible, but harder.

all the spins at WSI were like 1080's and up, and they were all stylish, none of them were hucked, they had all of them undercontrol and practiclly grabbed the whole time. But the lower the number of rotations in a spin the better.

dash's style is pretty sick, but a zero spin is one of the most stylish tricks, if done to perfection. in 1242 tanner does a swicth 5, then a switch 9. to me the switch 5 looks much better becuase he does it so stylish, and the switch 9 is sorta hucked and his landing isnt as good.

why can't you do both? slow perfect spins under 540 and then quicker bigger spins 720 and above? seems kind of pretentious to self induldged to say you only spin to 540 because thats all that can have style. You are just limiting yourself, thats all.

im not saying that big spins arent stylie, i was making an example. at x a few years ago tanner threw a switch nine and spun it incredidbly slow, with style, and mikeales switch cork 10s are filthy cuz he threws them perfectly

It just depends on what your style of riding is. I personally like doing bigger slower spins when other people like to do their own thing with bigger spins. This is why diversity is good.

how is skiing ever going to have smooth styley 900's if no one ever does them? I think people should go big and they'll get cool looking. if everyone spins 540, well thats just boring, even if its unnatural. people cut down big spins alot here but I think we should push to make them nice. if you think that 1080s are ugly, then go float a nice huge smooth one and show how it should be done instead of cutting people down and then going out and doing a 540.

skiing already has smooth and stylie 900s. skiing already has stylie 1080s, and switch 12's. thats not the point. im just giving respect to the people who chose NOT to spin over 540. it makes skiing seem less like figure skating.

there needs to be slopestyle comp where nobody is allowed to spin over 540. it would be progressive in a way. you watch snowboarding comps, none of them are hucking 1080s like us, they always have style.
