nah, thats just extra motivation, i rode no poles a couple years ago at windells with will gruner (any one know him?) and it was the best day i think i've ever had at timberline. good fun. and i've been wanting to for a long while, just never really stuck to it

and no poles is fun, i drop them every once and a while to take a run but only for a little while
