i was in love with my crushers for about 5 days....but theres a problem, they sound like shit without the bass booster and put out basically no volume, and guess what? the fucking woofers are blown from the power of an ipod MINI....sweeeet dj quality shit right there,i also like how you always forget to turn the bass booster off so it dies in a day. also the fucking clip in the back comes undone constantly and they unfold on my head, im pretty displeased that such a popular company puts out such a shit product. all i wanted was some OK headphones, nothing too great. apparently they care more about the style whores that buy them for looks than the people who just want decent quality for the seventy dollars they pay. in the future i will just buy sony or something and i advise others to do the same.
 
i have the TI's and they are serving me good. im gonna sell them soon though cause i need money. i hear a lot of people say the skull crushers suck though
 
exactly, i thought i made the right decision in stepping up and buying the "better" ones...i guess i should sell them on ebay...anyone want some crushers!?
 
My bass booster thing blew out, I didn't use them for like a month, then it miraculously was fixed next time I used them..
 
my woofers just stopped working...i didnt even blow them out. They do work sometimes tho but only when i hold the control thingy at a certain angle. Skullcandy doesnt even respond to my warranty emails
 
I was pleased with my Skullcandy;s while they worked. But the battery things was gay, as well as the low volume deal.

I'm thinking about getting the icons tonight though. What do you all think of them?
 
yo they will warrenty pretty much anything no questions asked. i went into the office today and picked up some new icon's and the old ones broke through no fault of the company. skullcandy is illlll
 
fuck man i love my GIs they r so fukin load and they are like indestrutable

I gots the crushers and i still love em. No blow out speakers, the woofers chill, and actually i havent touched them in about 2 weeks since yesterday and i always leave the bass switch on and it still had life. But yeah if theres no bass then no point in using them.
 
mine were alrght but i sold them cuase theyre really just a gimmick. i should have got ti's but some gay kid has them at my school. and that aint right. how do the icons sound
 
are the TIs as good as the skullcrushers? and are the GIs any good? i know they are half price but how is the volume and sound?
 
I'm in the same boat, e-mailed them a week ago about a faulty wire. So much for the "48-hour" respond time bullshit. I knew they were sort of shoddy construction, they build them too style-oriented, but I I like my shit-wires, shitty-subwoofer Skull Crushers anyways. I only ever use then to listen to music off of my computer and they work perfectly for just that. They are too big to take everywhere with me. I am still pissed about the warantee thing though...
 
im pretty sure the hype about these headphones is due to the name of the company being "Skullcandy"
 
yea when i got my ti's i thought they would be sick... i gues there all right but the sound dosent go loud enuff for my deff ears. but i guess there aight for skiing cuz they keep my ears warm and if i break em i dont really care. next pair i get will be soem sick brand noone has andthen everyone will get all jealous and shit. yea thats a boss plan
 
completely agreed, i got some HD212 pros for 60 bucks and love them. By all means not the best headphones, but sturdy built and pretty swell sound...far better than skullshit
 
skull candy is a cool company with a good attitude toward thier market, however, thier products are not that great. the audio quality is horrible.
 
yeah dude, im in the saem boat. brand enw, but I was a secondary owner... I might be fucked I think. I know waht the problem is, maybe Best Buy ros ome other electronics store can fix them. I don't mind paying a few bucks.
 
i dont get why everyone is complaining about the headphones and continue to get skullcandys after previous problems with their headphones. Get different headphones if you dont like them
 
I have the proletariat noise canceling Skullcandy and I've enjoyed them so far. they were only $50 so i decided to buy them and try it out. they're pretty good at canceling loud bass coming from a speaker in the room, but not as good at canceling voices. on a windy day i used them in the car when the wind could be heard rushing by the ski rack (!) with the noise cancel on and no music playing it did pretty well getting rid of the wind noise problem. with the volume up 3/4 way and noise cancel on I wasn't able to hear anything but my music.
 
wht the fuck did u expect with like $30 dollar headfones. i have the Ti's and they kick ass, i love them. and they are only $70 which is damn good for a quality headfone

 
ti's rnt actualy good quality i broke mine and i have no idea how. the pastic on it broke so im gonna liek heat it with a deal and put it togeather. but o well i got mine for 20 bucks jeaaaaaa
 
i paid 40 bones for my tis and love them. My favorite skiing headphones, plus they do look gangsta.
 
uh buddy actually if you read they were the crushers which are $70 retail and he payed $50, your "$70 quality TI'S" actually retail for only 10 dollars more and sell for LESS always on ebay. you really dont know waht you are talking about.

note: my crushers are working OK now the vibration went away and i replaced the battery.
 
i bought TI's i tthink, no complaints nice and loud quality is good only thing is i wish they would fit better around my neck when i ski with them
 
They are having problems with the email warrenty right now, the best thing to do is call them. My buds broke the second day a i got them and they are taking care of it right now.
