Not done skiing yet HELP! (Michigan trip)

So I ski in Ohio, unfortunately Perfect North closed this past weekend but I"m not done skiing for the season yet.

Thinking about taking a trip to Michigan. Fairly close, cheap, and seems like it'd be a nice little trip.

Need opinions on where to go

Pine Knob is only like 4 hours from me but I'm not sure how good it is can't find a lot of info on the actual hill

Boyne Mountain is about 7 hours but looks a little more promising

I'm not really sure either way so I'm turning to NS for help

Pine Knob is small, but does have a decent little park, boyne on the other hand has a a way better and bigger park, and is a lot bigger as a hill. If I were you I'd drive the extra few hours to boyne, since it's about 5 times the size of pine knob and is probably open longer too

If you want to ski an a good park. Like said above, Cannonsburg is the best in the state of Michigan. NUBS knob is 2nd. But is a much bigger hill than cannonsburg. We have hills in MIchigan...

Ha yeah I would drive that far check out perfect north you'd understand why plus it closed this past weekend so no more skiing unless I travel

And Boyne looked pretty good that's what I was thinking just didn't know if it was worth the extra drive

You might be waiting too long then.

Nubs is having their Mardi Gras party on Saturday and Boyne's was last weeks.

Once that happens it's pretty much a gamble.

You could always head over to Peek N' Peek in NY or Seven Springs in PA. I think that's what some of us from Mad River are doing this weekend

For southeast michigan Mt brighton is the best park and the best snow, Holly probably has the best actual mountain and usually stays open the latest.

Southwest Michigan, cannonsburg has by far the best park, i dont have a lot of experience except for cannons though.

If you're going up north, go to Nubs, best park, best trees, best snow, and all around best vibe. Nubs is going to be open until at least April 13th and all the people i have run into there have been chill as hell.

I think Brighton is still going strong. Like 30 minutes closer then pine knob. I haven't been there since I broke my arm a month ago
