Some peoples bodies do not compliment baggy pants and they look stupid as fuck with them on.
Just to clarify tho, 95% of people look really good with them, but theres a handful of dudes i’ve seen just look dumb af. Don't let baggy pants be a crutch for having style, as long as the pants have good proportions to the rest of the kit it will look good. The problem is that most ski pant manufacturers don't seem to take into account that ski apparel is naturally big so their pants look skinnier than they should.
If you want to see the most horrendous, ugly ass outfits of all time go see @Hidecomply on IG. Even despite the proportions being fine he looks like a fucking idiot. Some people identify a trend and just throw logic right out the window I swear.

So to answer ur question OP. Baggy pants do look better (According to the majority or people, myself included). But at this moment in time, the truth is, you can either look like a clone and ride the exact same pants that everybody is riding rn or you can be original and make a kit look good because you actually legitimately have good taste.
That wasnt a diss to people that ride Harlauts btw. I love those pants and they are clearly the most sick but theres more options is my point.

Just do you. Whatever you feel suits you best. There are plenty of sick skiers who don't wear baggy pants. Pontus for instance. As blandz said, most people prefer baggy pants but there's no need to follow the crowd.
