I kind of get how everyone feels about X and Wski but who has seen Not Another Ski Movie? And how does it compare soundtrack and segment wise. Thanks

 
soundtrack great, segments awesome, but what really stands out is how the movie was made, it is so different from other movies in my opinion (and i'm a filmmaker), it knocks the socks off anything. My favorite movie so far this year. Get it.

 
yeah, this movie is awesome. the editing is incredible, and the soundtrack is pretty good. also, it is very artistic, and well put together.

great editing, music is right on. easily the best movie this season

I bet none of you except the peoples saying it had really good editing and all have actually seen it. yes the editing was subperb and has sweet shots and has an artistic feel to it but there was not enough skiing. it had some sweet shots but it just didnt have enough for me it had almost no rails high five had a few to many rails nasm had to little X is perfectly in the middle. Ive seen alot of ski movies this year X takes it in my mind then High five then ready aim fire then nasm. X is the best I could watch shillers seg for ever.

^no, i've watched it about 4 times. but i haven't seen X so i can't really give my opinion on the side by side comparison. but to sort of illustrate what kind of work the guys at push films put in - they pretty much had a finished product at the beginning of the summer that could have gone into production as-is, but they instead took the film and spent an additional two months on editing. i really loved red tape, and it's definately one of the best films this season, but NOSM is the best in opinion.

for some reason i was so disappointed of that movie.. it so boring! when you watch it from the start, the intro is only a long time when you just watch people go around in quick movie.. like another said over her, to much of the artistics bullshit and too little skiing.. yearbook and x takes the cake..

yeah..NASM was really great,im surprised it was that good. anyone should get it. Some of the editing is really different and adds spice to the movie,get it!

it is definately worth buying, i love it. all the riders are sick. its true that there arent many rails, but everyone kills it in the air. i loved the artistic feel and the editing was superb. the soundtrack wasnt half bad either. for X, i thought the soundtrack was a little better, and there is more rail footage.

 
The edits are off the hook and they took the ski movie to a different level the only thing i can compaire it to is robotfood's afterbang not in terms of riding which is still steller but in terms of feel and look its a first for a ski movie and they did a rad job i would pick it up if i were you.

NASM is amazing, it's definatly different from anything else out there, I loved the editing and the riding was really exellent, this movie exposed me to alot of riders I had never heard of that really rip. My only complaint is the footage shared with X=ten, dumont's entire part was in X but it was edited really differently.

9 out of 10 is my score

teleskier, i could have sworn ready fire aim was last season.

Red Tape was the best ski movie without a doubt, followed by high 5.

The rest were alright, and fun to watch a couple times - just not on the same level.

the thing is that the first time I saw the movie I could name half the tricks the skiers would do just because id seen the same footy in other movies. It def has some sweet stuff but X has most of the good stuff with more like shillers for example and a way better soundtrack and boronowskis part in X was sweet to I just got 1242 that real hot also I say X and 1242 are in a dead tie for my favorite then high five right behind em then Nasm.

I though NASM was way bad ass. It's got a lot of good editing and the skiiers are all the good ones. There is a lot of sick stuff, and by the way, Simon Dumont has got to be the best skiier in the world...ever...in the world......ever. and his seg in that movie is nuts.

I found that Red Tape and NASM are kind of similar in terms of feeling. But yeah the techno part in NASM is way off the hook.
