Let me preface this by saying I love(d) my Jeff 110s and have had a blast since getting them. That being said, I purchased because I’ve heard from tons of dif people they are on par with Moment durability.

Day 5 on them and one impacted base and one core shot already from a slight rock landing in one day. No shit that skis are supposed to do this when landing on rocks from drops, but my moments have stomped rocks from the same heights and bigger drops and I’ve never seen anything related to what my ON3Ps just did. My moments seem indestructible at this point. 0 core shots in 2 seasons, just slight edge coming out at tips because I don’t take care of my shit.

obviously not covered by warranty, but what makes Moments so fucking tanky? Does ON3P make any other stiffer/beefier skis than the Jeff’s?

Again, I love the skis so this is not a post meant to shit on ON3P. Still in my top 3 in terms of fun.

Pressure doesn't discriminate. Ski bases are just plastic. Only takes one particularly sharp rock impact to peel a base like a banana, and you may not even feel it. I've hit rocks that sent me over the bars with no damage and I've had massive coreshots noticed only after unclicking my skis at the end of the day. Things happen man.

The only guarantee is that if you ski your skis, they'll end up looking like they've been skied on.

I been skiing mango 100s all season and have came to a total of 0 core shots and 0 edge cracks so idk, just bad luck ig. on3p is goated
 
Shop just pointed out that the tails are bowing out Of the edges on the rocker portion. Seems like a factory fuck up at this point

Wont let me attach pics on comments idk why. They already told me I’m SOL and it’s all my fault which was pretty funny. Some mistakes cost $800 and only last 5 days unfortunately.

I’ll add the all the usual damage is my fault and not a warranty thing. Shit happens and dumb luck plays a roll. The tail thing genuinely does not make sense to me tho.
 
I was being a dipshit anyway. I went back and watched some of the footage from today and you can audibly hear my ski getting destroyed from 15+ feet away on video. It really felt like nothing and rode fine rest of the day.

Was the damage caused by a ditch? We all know any damage to ON3P skis caused by ditch skiing is exempt from warranty coverage unless your grandmother calls and threatens legal action.
 
I want to point out that they use the same base material but ON3p uses a thicker base. ON3P is 1.8mm and Moment is 1.3mm, if I remember correctly
 
Either the factory fucked up or I have awful luck. These bases feel and seem extremely thin compared to my moments. They are getting destroyed within 5 days. Like I said, the damage is my fault, but these things are not withstanding my usual riding and are practically falling apart. One of my favorite skis to ride but the price tag doesn’t feel worth it at all already.

Do the factory finds end of season. Usually they go for like $500

Appreciate the info, was actually helpful

Currently shaking and crying and puking and shitting because people on NS were mean to me and I might leave forever and delete the app and be really mad for a while.
