Not a fan of beer

Hahaha I always loved laughing at people like you in college who thought they were badass but passed out at 10:30 after losing their first game of beer pong in 5 minutes.

You kept saying beer, but it sounded like this:

cock is crazy. Once you get a taste for it and appreciate it you can taste all the flavors. My favorite thing is that no two are the same. The stages of flavor freak me out. I just had a local's named Tanner Bomb, start off was sweet, then an avalanche of cum took over my tongue, then it finished with a really smooth salty taste. thats why I love cock, what other body part is that complex? Mmmmm vanilla dick, coffee/chocolate/vanilla ... dessert penis.

You're drinking beer dipshit, so why the fuck are you writing poetry about it?

These threads are always insufferable. Thread cliffnotes: "I'm 12! I hate beer! I drink shots and get fucked up!", "yeah, well I'm 19 and I've like acquired a taste for it and now I know everything about it and I throw around words like hops because I've tried 3 microbrews"

No you're right, I should've just affirmed my masculinity/maturity and listed an obscure beer brewed within a hundred miles of my house and claimed it was the best to show how in the know I am.

Or I should've made a post about someone else's post....like I already did, and like you did, because that's always a good way to contribute.

im almost 25. ive been drinking beeer since i first moved off to college, nearly 7 years ago. I know my way around a beer. I know how to differentiate different flavors within a beer, as all beer enthusiasts do. go read any label on any beer and it will describe the flavor in stages, just like i did.

my brother owns the largest distillery west of the mississippi. guess what he makes. whiskey. guess what whiskey is made from. beer. guess who helps him make beer and whiskey. i do.

just because you dont like beer doesnt mean you need to be an asshole. me differentiating between flavors in beer is no different than differentiating between types of snow.

go fuck yourself you egotistical fuck. and yea bro, i live in portland, sorry for being the microbrew capital of the world. OMG......i grow hops too. good thing i dont know what they are

and dude, the vanilla porter i mentioned was at BB. they also have a seasonal in the spring called pandoras bock. its quite possibly the most delicious beer ive ever had. the double hopped IPA is also amazing but can almost be overwhelming.

I come to colorado a few times a year to ski. dont be mad because other dudes like beer. In case you didnt realize, thats why breweries are always packed. jackass

i dont really like beer, probably never will because i dont even really like the effect of alcohol that much but when i do, i've noticed i can drink hard alcohol a lot better than most/all college freshman noobs around me chasing their shit

tl:dr another 18 year old who: thinks beer is gross and thinks he is a badass for taking shots instead

also if im extremely stoned cold hoppy beers are enjoyable

You got upset because somebody insulted your extremely vast and wide knowledge of hops and beer flavoring. Nobody gives a fuck where you live or what beer you think you're special for drinking.

Never said i was special. beers have different flavors. Its that simple. We have lots o different beer in portland. He called me out for literally no reason. Idk, sorry i dont drink beer to get drunk. Sorry i drink a beer with dinner just for the taste. Sweet contributions to the thread btw. Why should we have a thread about something when we can just badger each other instead.

I'm 24. I've been drinking beer since I moved away to college. I know my way around a beer quite well. If it makes you feel any better, I'm actually drinking an Oregon brewed beer as I type this. There's no need to be a condescending douche just because people don't share the same tastes in craft beer/microbrews as you.

Im drinking beer right now. OP what do you do at tailgates and regular drinking activities? I respect people who don't drink. Stand by your choice, dont let people convince you your dumb for dong it.

Also, for what it's worth, 4 of the top 10 USA brewed beers of 2012 according to ratebeer.com were brewed in Michigan, while only one was brewed in Oregon. Suck my Midwestern cock.

i think beer's disgusting. i can only drink it if shotgunning it. vodka on the other hand i'll drink it straight without giving 2 fucks

Is it all glutens? Im wheat intolerant, so i mainly drink German largers as they dont have it in (see german purity law).

Although i do like my Bitter, so that kinda fucks up my stomach.

Have you tried all different types of beer? I for one dislike the typical PBR style beer, as well as IPA's, but love the dark stout and porters to death.

I was dissapointed by their Centennial honestly, I still think Dogfish 60 is the most well balanced IPA. Plus sam is the man

not a big deal. a lot of people don't like most beers. try hefeweisens and other wheat beers because most people like the sweetness of them. i wasn't crazy about beer at first, i just drank it because it was the norm. after working my way into craft beers i got hooked.

now i brew most of the beer i drink and i love everything about beer. try working your way into it and you might find similar results.

i don't understand why anyone would give a shit that you're not a fan of beer, what difference does it make? my friends know that i prefer a 26 of vodka or whiskey over a sixer of my favourite beers, they don't seem to care, it's not like i force them to drink my booze, and i don't bitch when they offer me theirs (unless it's flavoured vodka, fuck that shit is nasty). i usually drink to get drunk, but there's the odd time (river rafting, for instance) when i'd rather drink beer, and not get so fucked up so quickly. stop giving a fuck what your scumbag associates think and drink what you want.

I actually have an epidemic on my hands as well. I used to love beer, could drink it like no problem, same with hard liquor. Unfortunately, I've been having some issues lately. I got extremely drunk a few weeks ago; we think I had a mild case of alcohol poisoning. Threw up a lot and I think I've developed a taste aversion for any type of alcohol. I hate taking pulls now (used to never need a chaser, now the scent makes me queazy), beer doesn't sit well in my stomach, I black out more frequently, and I just never have the desire to drink anymore. Sucks. I know, cool story, right?

fuck off. American beer happens to be the best most innovative beer in the world at this moment. of course bud is terrible but it's a dutch company now.

i love beer. and i love fall.

obviously i can understand it, but ive come so far to say that i really like the taste. cant really say why because its kind of bitter obviously and instinctively, bitter taste isnt good (rotten fruits/meat, etc), but somehow a lot of people like it.

like really drink it for taste, weird if you think about it

I have a really weird taste in beer. I don't enjoy the taste of beer much but I can deal with warm stouts and long trail double bags

people really show up at partys at 10:30? wow srly....Im not even kidding here, its like going in bar or a club at this time. like cmon

I think I may have inherited a mild alcohol intolerance from my mom (who actually suffers from it), so anything hard does not sit well in my stomach. That being said, I spent a month in Austria where (legally) I had beer with meals and with friends and learned to absolutely love it...now it's the only thing I'll ever drink because I think it is delicious and it does not make me sick.

Usually. Dinner is normally 8:00 to 10:00ish especially when going out, then go back someones place for a few drinks and have a few friends over then call the cabs around 11-11:30 to head to the bars.

Pretty sure very few people like beer the first time they have it, even if its good beer. You have to drink it alot to appreciate a good beer. And by "first time" I mean a while.

I doubt there's anybody who liked alcohol at all the first time they had it. I'm sure everybody remembers being really young and hating the alcoholic sauce for Christmas pudding or hating fondue with alcohol in it or hating the taste of wine when you take a sip out of your mums glass. Alcohol is a taste everybody hates in every form at some point in their life.

yeah thats more like what I do, idk i've never been to a party around 10:30-11h, It's always better when I show up around 11:30-12h when everybody already had a couple drinks. but hey thats how it works here,it might be different from place to place and from age to age.
