noseslides

Ive been trying to do some noseslides and i find that its extremely hard because i have like no leverage. Ive been throwing like all of my weight at my toes and just trying to put the rail out around my nose. I can consistantly get the rail underneath about at the end of my binding, but thats not really a noseslide. Any advice??

yah i was trying them last week on boxes but i ended up on the corners most of the time, and i don't think they were quite long enough

noseslide is like, just in front of the binding. nosepress is right on hte tip.

well if you were looking at it like snowboarding, a nosepress would be extremely hard on skis. like a 5050 but pressed forward.

noseslide is the real term for skiing. and no one can do them near their tips, thats just absurd

i did one this sat, it was over a rainbow box and a small flat down rail i just went fast gappes it and locked my knees and leaned foreward.

drop every thing its saturday time to ski!
 
on rails, i'll start out with the rail under my feet then slide out to my tips, works good on kinked rails.

I was trying nose and tail taps on this small 10 foot box a couple weeks ago. I was just hitting it with a lot of speed and puttin a little disaster tap on it.

aiight i gotta clear this up.

Nose presses and nose slides are different.... a nose slide is when your sliding like a regular slide and your in front of your binding... the further the better, but its not a different trick name if your a few inches in either direction.... a press can basically only be done on boxes cause you have to ride on straight, and press forward... a noseblunt is a lipslide/noseslide. so you pop tails up over the rail and lean into the rail on your nose.

i realize no one asked about nose blunts, but i just had to give'r
