Andre.B Active member Sep 30, 2006 #3 it cant hurt! are you useing these skis just on rails? or is it an all round ski?
Tapes Active member Sep 30, 2006 #5 both are the same. just dont do it on high rails. do on boxes first. remember to lean enough.
Tapes Active member Sep 30, 2006 #6 and i wouldnt detune them much. they are going to detune by them selves.

bermbuster49 Active member Sep 30, 2006 #8 i started tails first, but my skis are centered, maybe a nose would be easier for you
T tahoearmada20 Member Sep 30, 2006 #11 if you live out west detune them all the way, with the exception of my ANT's I detune all my skis the entire effective edge length... dont tell anyone, but it makes butters a lot easier among other things

quebski6 Member Sep 30, 2006 #15 i've always thought tail/heal presses were easier.. especially if you dont have a true center mount, but even if you do, i think tail/heal is easier
