dunno if anyone mentioned this yet because I would never read a 3 page thread about nose rings, but when a someone gets them it totally reminds me of a branded animal (cow usually comes to mind (this is mainly for rings, studs can look good on girls).

Lip rings look like a fish that's just been caught and has a hook in it's lip.
