good news for snowfall! Its nearing the time to dust off you pow shovels and get building!!!!!

Winter will be a bit colder than normal, on average, with above-normal snowfall. Precipitation will be below normal in Washington and above normal in Oregon and California. The heaviest snow will fall in mid- to late February, with other snowfalls in mid-November, early to mid-December, and early to mid-January. The stormiest periods will be in early and mid-November, mid-December, and mid-March. The coldest temperatures will be in early December, mid-January, and mid-February.

April and May will be cooler and wetter than normal, on average, with the stormiest period in mid- to late April. The first half of April will be warmer than normal, with below-normal temperatures most of the time from the latter half of April through May.

Summer will be slightly cooler and drier than normal, on average, with the hottest temperatures in mid-July. Other warm periods will be in mid-June and mid- and late August.

September and October will be wetter and warmer than normal, on average.

hard to believe. thats like saying Baker will have sun for a week straight during a certain time frame. though a colder, wetter winter is always nice.....
 
Doesn't it say below average precipitation in Washington and above average in Oregon and California?

Good news for Hood, bad news for Baker.
 
Baker is something like 40 or 50 miles overland from Bellingham and I think Snoqualamie is a similar distance from Puget Sound. I guess the questions is whether or not the Sound is the coast or not, i.e. What zone are Baker and Snoqualamie in.
 
Puget Sound is Puget Sound not the coast! The coast is the coast not puget sound! Anyways i could care less I just want to ski some pow! I want so much that it blows the 99 season out of the water! So much that we ski pow everyday! So much that winter needs to be here NOW! SPKA
 
seams like the trend for the whole us with the exception of a few states is colder and wetter than normal. so it looks sick for next year!!!
