Northstar or Alpine?

So I am moving to Tahoe this winter and I am facing a decision. Should I buy a pass to Northstar, which is about 100 bucks cheaper, or a pass to Alpine? I am leaning towards Alpine because I have had some really good days at Alpine in the past and they have a really good jump line and some SICK terrain. I have never been to Northstar.

What should I do?

yeah definately not flatstar. they had a good park 2 seasons ago but last years was shit. alpine has a sick park and has great terrain.

i was debating the exact same thing and i decided alpine. they have a dope park, its not as crowded as northstar, and there are so many stashes when theres pow. plus, now its cheaper for me (at 18) to get one to alpine. oh yeah and theres no blackout days either at alpine

alpine is wayy better

northstars park is even over rated

and there is no good terrain.

alpine is sick terrain and their park flows and is sooo fun.

so yeah thats easy

soo ya there :).

go to N*!

Alpine doesn't need any more people

-oh, yeah.  i'm kidding. alpine is soooooo much better, serious.

Alpine all the way, North Star sucks balls since the renovation has happened. There way too many gapers and the park sucks now. Also it takes three fuckin hours to get out of the parking lot and there is no lodge for apre ski.

Alpine - Cheaper, better terrain for freeriding, solid park built around a sweet jump line.

Northstar - More parks, Probably more jib-style but has good jumps as well.

I'm poor, I ride at Alpine when I'm up there and never regret it. The jump line is super smooth and has some of the better transitions I've ridden. They do have some fun rails too. Usually not very crowded, comparatively.

if you're poor, you'll want to check those pass prices before you go up this year, or you might regret it.

damn if this was two years ago people would be like... Whats alpine?

ha i remember when NO one went there.  Now its the hot spot, and now they got sold and the adult ticket prices went up like 500 dollars haha.

i love that place and im glad a teen pass is stil reasonable at 270.

They claim they want to give it back to the locals, and if they really want to do that then they should have a bunch of locals discounts.  (tahoe basin, truckee, and Reno is considered local for there)

anyone else agree with that?
