Northstar at Tahoe Bag jump

Agreed, but I think it should happen at Squaw instead and in addition to their SPT park that is being built this year. I'm overly optimistic about that place.
I'm kinda anti Northstar for reasons that don't actually involve the terrain/employees. But that's a long story. But yeah, Airbag/Katal at Mammoth is happiness so I assume airbag anywhere would be sweet.
 
I went to squaw 1 time last year and there was no terrain set up...It was the worst day of my season. All they had was there pussy baby park open. So i kinda dont ever wanna go bak to squaw b/c of that. But hopefully this year it changes
 
did you not see the rest of the mountain?agreed though that their park went waay downhill in the last couple years, but the rest of the terrain almost makes up for it. northstar on the other hand sucks on weekends, just way too long of lift lines, thats why they need to have a park pass system so the line doesnt get crowded with people that dont ski park, or they need a seperate lift/another spepate little park
 
I think it would be great at Northstar. I feel like northstar is really pushing their parks this year because not only did the do the whole shaun white trains here thing, but i read in the paper here (i live in reno) that they hired the people who do the park for the x games to design their park this year. so it seems like a bag would be perfect for what they are doing and the image they are creating. Mammoth seems to have alot of problems with their airbag tho becaue i go about once a month during winter, and i have only seen their bag open one day because its always too windy or cloudy or someone pops it or something. It can also be dangerous too because if some tourist or something goes off it and misses the bag or lands on the bag but on their head, there can be serious consequences.
 
i used a bag jump at boreal during there summer camp and to be honest i would rather just practice on a real jump cuz bag jumps suck. i was more concentrated about how i landed and hoping i wouldn't hurt my self then actually trying my trick. i think they sould build a super huge foam pit mid mountain.,haha that would be super chill
 
Squaw is making huge changes. They want to have the best park in Tahoe. Apparently they are giving SPT an almost unlimited budget to make this happen. Think the type of resources they used for the cubed pipe and Red Bull Training Grounds but for an everyday park.
