the quality of North Face products is actually pretty shitty. The only high quality things they make are for extreme mountaineering expeditions. there everyday stuff is mediocre at best. companies like REI, EMS, and other lesser known companies such as Sherpa provide a much better product that will actual stand up to the use it was intended for; not just walking from your dorm to the classroom

very true. north face makes high quality apparel and yeah they didnt have a lot of jackets that were sick, but just because they have twall doesnt mean that its the "new trend." it shouldn't matter what people wear, its skiing let people describe their sty. I dont see why so many people on NS freak out about "trends" or "mainstream." Its not a big deal let people rep what they want, you shouldn't hate on kids who buy north face just because they have a new member of North Face. Their stuff is quality and if people are buying it because thats the case, who cares its high quality material.
