Normal Chipping?

I've had it happen... Just epoxy it and clamp it down.

happened to my trouble makers from hippy killers.
epoxy, then clamp. cover the clamp surface with ducttape to prevent base scoring

Yes that is normal, do what they say to fix it^^^^^...................................
