What Nordica says about the Unleashed collection:

“Built for the modern freeskier, Nordica’s Unleashed collection is perfect for those who spend their days off trail in the woods and chasing pow. With an emphasis on versatility, these skis provide the perfect blend of playfulness and performance, enabling you to transform the entire mountain into your playground. Their rockered tip and tail profile easily handles diverse terrain and variable conditions. And to further boost your confidence, they pair a wood core with carbon and a sheet of terrain-specific metal, which enhances edge hold and dampens vibrations for an especially smooth ride. If you view groomers as nothing more than how you get to the terrain you truly want to ski, the Unleashed is your soulmate. Your best days are yet to come—chase them down and turn loose your creativity with Nordica’s Unleashed.”

s/o [tag=229241]@patagonialuke[/tag] and blister I just stole all this from them

skis actually look really good and that unleashed 98 might be calling my name

Very excited about this ski. A damp twin with lotsa sidecut is right up my alley. Curious what the mount point is on these bad larry's. Nordica focuses it's marketing towards off-piste use compared to the enforcer series, makes me wonder what they mean by that.

What's the mount point? Can we get pics of the rocker?

First post has the rocker profile. Ski essentials did like a 17 minute video on this. They address the mount point somewhere in it.

Word sometimes real-life photos show different perspectives. I'll have to see that review thanks

I've been testing both 98 and 108. Such sick and damp skis. Tight sidecut and less taper. I have my 98's mounted -1,5cm with Jesters and 108's -3,5cm with Duke pts.

I just watched that ski essentials vid and they didn't say shit about mount point besides 'they can be mounted close to center for park' lol are they trynna be like some brands where they mark a -8 line and a -3 line or something?

Those brands are trying to sell skis. If the mount point is one or the other it could turn different demographics off. But if they mark a range in the sweet spot then it opens up the market. I have owned 2 Atomic skis that were market like that.

I get why they do it, i have dynastars that do the same but it's also rediculous to say the mount works well so far behind the sidecut. I'm just trying to get an idea of where they're recommending because you know, that's a pretty big deal when deciding a ski.

Which one are you on? The 98 or 100ish one? Where’d you mount?

I’m on the 98s I mounted them center. Had to ask the rep if I could center mount it since there is no center mount marking

Side cut seems like it peaks pretty centered, that true?

-7.7cm

If you buy this ski to take into the park for even one day buy another ski. Even though i got sent several pairs of these every single ski hasn't made it past 10 days before they delam or explode. Only Buy it for non park use

anyone got binding recommendations for these? I want to keep them LIGHT for small/medium jumps and in the trees.

tyrolia attacks (12 or up; 11 is a kids' binding) are the go-to light binding. cheap too
