Has anyone on here skied to new OMWs? I'm wondering basically if I can use them all year (110+ days) and through competitons. What are they like? Are they buttery? Help me out hah.

Thanks, -mitch

Same ski as the dead moneys. Fairly stiff and I thought they were on the heavier side. People seem to love them though. No park ski is going to fair very well anywhere close to 110 days.

^Yes - They're made for park, pipe and urban, So should cover it as far as comps go. Haven't skied them, but same as above on positive reviews.

heavy? seriously? they are pretty light compared to the Indie ski brands. you must be coming from a cap construction beginner ski to think they are heavy. if you are on the lighter side, a squire on an OMW will be super light and nimble. If you are more aggressive, slap a griffon on there. Ive got the dead moneys and think they are soft compared to my S4s. They have no metal in them and flex perfectly. Im really hoping they will create a 183 next year for us more experienced guys looking for a slightly longer ski than the 177s

Well compared to every other ski in the shop, they were definitely the heaviest. Heavier than what I was expecting to pick up.

because all ski manufacturers measure differently and skis can be trimmed at the factory differently, a 168 to a 170 could be the same ski. i think you'll be absolutely fine with a 170. at the end of the day, take the 2cm difference and divide it in half, 1cm longer tail and tip, thats it. in fact, if you plan to centermount, even a 177 wouldnt be a bad thing if you are a strong skier.

on the lower end of 170's lengths you will get the stiffest ski. if you like stiff skis go for it, if not get the 177s
