I love that Nordica has been showing love and supporting the young guns slaying out here on the East Coast. Kids are throwing down and getting recognized. Perhaps this wasn't thread worthy, but I wanted to see if people agreed with me on this.
 
I very much so agree with this, Nordica has got a killer team these days all from the east. Keep up the good work, definitely supporting the right type of riders
 
Yeah this is the first year it seems like they have been getting alot of sick kids on their team and really getting there name out there in the free ski community
 
That was the whole point of the new AM team, they're focus for the AMs was to get video coverage, then the Pros (TJ, Schlopy, ect) are focused on comps.

 
They really just thought of the most simple publicity strategy ever.

1)Go on Newschoolers look at top rated videos of kids with no ski sponsor,

2)Give them skis, cool t shirt, money to ski more often

3)Watch your companies name pop up in a majority of sick edits on newschoolers.
 
gotta say. im a fan. i made the switch to the dead moneys on a whim and love them. I think they build awesome skis and their am team is on fire. East Coast, especially stratton, represent. cfranchino, ewilliams, keep it going strong.

Nordica is pretty dope. They've got good product and good image. I love my Nordica boots.
 
Kids like Kieran are pushing skiing in new directions. It's dope that Nordica recognizes this and supports new styles of skiing.
 
Nordica was instrumental in building the foundation of freeskiing and supporting the sport during its most important years by focusing on R&D by develop twin tips that were used by their skiers that were pioneering the sport we all love. Companies like Line and Armada really needed to stop focusing on developing a race program and so they could start throwing money at a sport 10 years later.

I'm sure their skis are good and anyone getting free gear is dope, but I stil view them as a race company.
 
Super stoked that Nordica has been supporting Christian Franchino. I've definitely noticed that they are stepping it up this year in terms of marketing and catering to the freesking scene

I'm glad to see that they're toning down their graphics a bit, the Ace of Spade couple years ago was hideous.
 
Yeah Im really interested in nordica now! I'm getting the OMW next year and I'm pretty stoked!

All there edits are awesome! And that t shirt everyone is wearing in the edits is a hoodie as well both are gonna be sold next fall

Nordica had some of the worst shit on the market. I mean Brad Holmes as the main rider? damn!

I hope their new direction will improve their image and draw some support.
 
I mean...they're certainly trying. Their pro team is fairly legit (TJ and Schlopy among others for contest pros, Talkington and others for filming, Rory and others for back country), their AM team consists of some of the biggest up and coming riders who haven't yet but are on the verge of making a name for themselves (Lupe, Christian, Kieran, Williams, Parker, Cam). Even some of their regional talent is impressive. They're certainly making the steps in the right direction.
 
how far out of the loop are you? be careful dissing holmes.. he and a few others got this sport to where its at now. nothing wrong with nordica sticking by him since he has done the same for so long, what 20 years now?

please leave this thread and continue to hike that 8ft long flat bar doing your ballerina change ups at a snails speed. enjoy your line masterminds....
 
This is kind of upsetting. I knew Nordica's products were great from the start and they were unique. Kind of upsetting to see a bunch of people just get their stuff now. Its kinda like: "Hey I liked that song long before it was popular.). You know youve claimed it before
 
Semi off topic but does anyone know when or where someone would be able to get those Nordica hoodies? loads of people have them from the team and i'm presuming they haven't been released yet, i think they look sweet.
 
I hear ya. back in '02 i got their beast boot and beast twintip through the shop i worked for. It was a great ski, but heavy and i broke two pairs.

yeah there gonna be sold next fall at nordica retailers and on the nordica website is a t-shirt and a hoodie
 
Nordica is really cool, and not only for the quality product (I love my Ace of Spades boots). Here in Italy Nordica is the only brand wich invests seriously money to support freeski that isn't so practised unfortunately. For example Nordica supports the project Freeskicamp, the only italian summer camp organised at L2A in France.
