I was at work at Beaver Creek in Colorado and snuck into the Nordica show room.

Dope new graphics and sick new boards.

Finally some sticks that actually fit the profile !!!!!

dude sure the graphics look good but how about the ski itself. anyone can come up with a good graphic but are the skis actually good? do they ski well? who gives a shit what they look like.
 
The zero's look dank and the design seems perfect for what i ski. I might consider getting a pair next year.

gonna have to agree, i thought i'd have to be the first to say that i'm not really into the graphics... i'm damn sure that they are all sick skis, but the graphics aren't doin' it for me, a little too comic book.

I ride the Blower from this year, and it dominates! The new graphic is sick! now they look as good as they ski!

Most of the others seem to be reheating leftovers this year. New paint on old shit. Nordica just keeps coming on hard. Peter O, JT, Rory, I heard that even shane is skiing in some boots now. Those guys can sign with anyone, they must know something

I talked to a shop buddy who skied on the Jah and the Zero last weekend in the middle of a deep pow cycle, said that they were unreal. He said that the Jah made his is Hell Bent look like a POS. Way more stable, more float, just stomped the landings! can't wait to try em

All I Can say is don't fall for the hype - some of those 'core' companies just piss me off with there BS adds, poser graphics on rental shit! they treat us like we're idiots that can't ski and don't know what we're doing.

 
nobody fucking cares. what has nordica done for freeskiing other than lengthen the career of brad holmes, pissing everybody off in the process?

for people who have been around the scene for a while, what is the incentive to get on board with a company who has done shit-all for our scene when it actually mattered? as far as i'm concerned, this is a nike 6.0 move... an attempt to cash in on the freeskiing scene without actually investing in it. sure, rory is sick, and sure, stephan thomas is a dirty rider... but get real.
 
don't associate my hate with 4bi9. Wow, i have a 100 by 100 pixel icon that says I'm part of it.

Read through my posts, many of my opinions are cynical.

I don't even ski or appear in most of the edits, I'm a graphic designer, it's my profession to criticize art, my attitudes have absolutely nothing to do with being part of 4bi9.

this is kinda funny cause a while ago when they ahd no graphics, everyone was like, "Who cares what the graphics are like as long as they ski good?" I have no idea how they ski but they seem to ahve a prettyy good reputation.

I'm gonna have to see how the lineup is in a couple weeks. So far I haven't heard anything about their construction, performance or design - just graphics. Tons of skis look sweet and don't ski any better. Also, why change if something works? A lot of people just change something to change it for the next year. That's where the gimmicks are. If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

Also, just because something needs tweaking doesn't mean it's just the same product. Often, those minor tweaks are just what the ski needs. That makes a ton of difference to a lot of people.

Oh yeah, nice one calling out schmies. Where does he get off sounding like he knows anything about skis?
