I am interested in picking up this skis for this upcoming season, however my concern is the stiffness of the ski. I hear mixed review.

I am an Intermediate skier and my home mountain is Wachusett. It is smaller but still has the ability to give the opportunities to throw some bigger tricks. I plan on progressing greatly this season.

I'm 5'8 145lbs and currently ski the 2012 Rossignol Storm.

Im 6' and 175 and I feel like the flex on them are perfect for me. I can flex them if I want but they are definitely on the stiffer side. I ride the 177.

i skied a pair this past year. i'm 6'1, 170 lbs, and rode the 177s (they were given to me by a friend). absolutely loved them for east coast park stuff. the stiffness was also well set, they really weren't as stiff as i had heard, and if you know how to ski you'll be able to flex them when you want to. i just wish i had a longer length of them.

I have been on these skis for 2 or 3 years now. they are rad. My home mountain is real tiny but these things still shred. Definitely not just build for huge features and superpipes. lots of pop for sure which is always sick. My favorite part is the Titanium underfoot which makes them stiffer/torsionally stronger and so binders dont pull out.

have a pair and used them last season and i have to say... probably the best park ski out there from my experiences and I have tried a lot of the high end park skis. first off im about your size and I would say unless you love stiff skis then stay a size down so i would say 177s for you. they really are super snappy, not like park skis, like $1200 race skis. that is how they were made after all. hohnestly they are grreat for so many disciplines espcecially the east coast scene cuz they hold a better edge than my old slalom skis (thats saying something)they arent light, but for having metal in them, not heavy either and yuou never really get core shots unless you hit a rock straight on cuz there is a metal plate under the base and edges, just something to think about cuz its a lot easier to fix base gouges

I'd go with the OMW, it's the weapon of choice for almost the entire Nordica team. Stiff enough to handle speeds, but soft enough to play around on. It'll also last longer than the badmind.
